Sandy Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 I was browsing BL and found this: Linky I have no clue what is is or if it's for a new girly theme. If you know anything about this keychain please tell. I haven't seen that before either, but it's comprised of the hair of Willie Scott from the IJ's Temple of Doom set, and the torso of the governor's daughter from Brickbeard's Bounty, so I doubt it points to a new theme. But it is lovely in itself, though. Quote
Athos Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 I doubt its a new theme, since the torso is from the pirate ship. The wings I'm not sure about, but I think belville had cloth wings at one point. The skirt is like this keychain. Though a fairy theme would be interesting... I'm surprised how good the blonde hair looks on a yellow figure. I'd have guessed otherwise. Steve Quote
JCC1004 Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 It's kind of wierd Lego is making one girly keychain every couple of years. I knew they reused parts, but still thats pretty cheap. Quote
JCC1004 Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 (edited) I know that the Fairy is nothing special, but I love this:Cool! Edited August 7, 2009 by JCC1004 Quote
The Green Brick Giant Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Years ago I saw a pink priness keychain at a LEGO Store for $4 (The normal price then), and I'm still kicking myself for no buying 10 of them. It was the same style as the one you posted, but in pink. Quote
The Who Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I actually love this, and, as much as I hate monkeys, I actually want one of those also. (See below quote) I know that the Fairy is nothing special, but I love this:Cool! By the way, are both of those on S&H? Quote
posades Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Wow my niece would love one of those, I wonder if/when they are going to be sold in stores or on S@H? Quote

Lordofdragonss Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Maybe Fairies will be new Fraction in Castle in 2010! I really like it, aspecialy this little wings (propably glued) Quote
Oky Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 (edited) Hm... It seems like a little too much trouble for TLC to produce the princess hairpiece in tan and create a new cape-style cloth piece (the wings) just for a keychain. I'm almost convinced that this will be the new girl theme for 2010. Nice find. When this theme comes out, I'll probably buy one or two of the smaller sets for the female minifigs. I'm almost convinced that this will be the new girl theme for 2010. Nice find. First of all, the hairpiece isn't tan, it's the same blonde hairpiece that Willie Scott has in the Temple of Doom set. Secondly, they created the pink princess keychain before, and it didn't turn into a new theme, so I seriously doubt this will, either. But as we all know, everything is a hint of a new theme for AFOLs. TLG only needs to cough, and someone will think that we will get a new hospital-theme next year. Quote
Oky Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 First of all, the hairpiece isn't tan, it's the same blonde hairpiece that Willie Scott has in the Temple of Doom set. Oh, my mistake. It looked different on a yellow head. I guess you just popped my dream bubble of a Fairy theme. But as we all know, everything is a hint of a new theme for AFOLs. TLG only needs to cough, and someone will think that we will get a new hospital-theme next year. Sarcastic much? I wish people would stop making such comments. Yes, some people like me have fun speculating, but is that really so bad? Quote
Sandy Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Sarcastic much? I wish people would stop making such comments. Yes, some people like me have fun speculating, but is that really so bad? I apologize, I do have a tendency of being sarcastic. It's just that what I said is very true. TLG posted a picture of an elf in an ad, and everybody are now anticipating an Elf theme (including me). TLG produced the boardgames, and now many people can't wait to see the Greeks/Egyptians/Monsters as a new theme. Someone said he read the word "Atlantik" somewhere and now everybody are waiting for the new style "Aquaraiders". And these are just a few examples. Speculation is fun, yes, but it just gets tiresome to always see someone yell "new theme!" when a new part or rumor comes up. In my opinion, at least. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 ...Speculation is fun, yes, but it just gets tiresome to always see someone yell "new theme!" when a new part or rumor comes up... Then shall we just yell "I do believe there just might possibly be a new theme...maybe!"? NO! This is more fun. Perhaps this will be used in a reincarnation of Bellville, but with minifigures this time.... Quote
einsteinonthebeach Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Well I just punched in the 7-digit code by the bar code here at the LEGO store and the name of this kechain is: "Keychain Angel" Perhaps we'll see some Christmas themed keychains coming out soon. MLB Quote

MrTools Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 A "Girly " theam would be cool, i would buy the smaller sets as well for the girl minifigs. (out of my collection of around 150 minifis only 4 are girls, three happen to be the villan in indiana jones and one a pirate no citizens) Along with some possibly new colored parts and new parts in general. Alice Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Wow my niece would love one of those, I wonder if/when they are going to be sold in stores or on S@H? The monkey is Julius from the Paul Frank collection. Julius costs 20-35 USD on Bricklink and came out in 2006. Lego used several Paul Frank designs in creating apparel, stickers, and this one lovely keychain. I have the Julius keychain and it is one of my most prized lego possessions (despite hating Lego Keychains). I wish I had known more about Lego when the Paul Frank items were in production. There are 2 of the Fairy/Angel keychains for sale on Bricklink. A recreation of something along the lines of a paradisa type girly theme is not going to happen. I suspect as someone else mentioned that this is a Christmas item. Quote
Yeow Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Someone said he read the word "Atlantik" somewhere and now everybody are waiting for the new style "Aquaraiders". Apparently, this particular rumor ended up being true. XD Quote
