tomacwhite Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I just looked on the (UK) Lego store to order the 8275 Motorised Bulldozer and I noticed there are two models there, 8275 and B8275. They look identical but does anyone know if there is a difference between the two, if any? Thanks! Quote
Conchas Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 As far as I remember the 'B' prefix, stands for a pack that comes with batteries included. However don't see them advertised in this B8275 reference. Also it won't makes sense to list such two references simultaneously. It should be one the common S@H listing mistakes. Quote
Brickus Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 The only difference is that one says RC and the other doesn't. Quote
tomacwhite Posted August 10, 2009 Author Posted August 10, 2009 I checked with Lego just to be sure and like the first reply said, they are the same but the ''B' model includes batteries. That was out of stock (in fact not on the system at all) so I ordered the 8275 and will get some batteries from elsewhere. Very excited :) Quote
Milan Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 You wont be disappointed. 8275 is one of the best Technic sets, with the biggest supply of PF elements, and probably has the biggest fun-factor of all technic! Quote
tomacwhite Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) It arrived! It's a birthday present off of my girlfriend so I've gotta wait a couple of weeks before I can go near it. Looks awesome from the cover though :D It shipped from Lego (direct from Denmark, I thought they would have UK stock but I guess its an older line now) on Tuesday and arrived (England) this morning, pretty good going :) I am going to be 31 in two weeks yet I am feeling like a child at Xmas waiting to get the pressie :) Edited August 13, 2009 by tomacwhite Quote

For real fun, you really ought to have two! A friend of mine and myself had our own little version of Robot Wars in my living room about a year ago. More fun than two thirty-something guys are supposed to have with a toy Cheers, Ralph Quote

puddleglum Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I wish it was still available in the US! Quote
CP5670 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 (edited) Yeah, the US S@H availability for this set was very poor, only around 7 months from October 2007 to April 2008. I'm surprised it's still available in other countries. This is my favorite Technic set in the last several years. Although not as mechanically sophisticated as 8421 or 8258, the design is just about flawless and it gives you a lot for the money. The PF elements are worth around $80 alone. tomacwhite Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 I was surprised it was still on the UK store, and priced at £99 too which I thought was a damn good price for the spec of the model. I went to my closest Lego shop and they said they stopped stocking it a while back, but it will be available online for a while yet because of its popularity. Perhaps it wasn't a bigger hitter in USA? Quote
