DarthSion Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 It seems as if TSCC will live on as a straight to dvd movie. http://www.fmqinc.com/sarah-connor-chronicles/ Quote
Oky Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 That's great news!... I think. It depends whether they really did learn their lesson and make it a Terminator movie that fits into the franchise or not. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to it. It sucks, though, that it's released so late. But if it's really gonna tie in with T5, I guess it's better this way. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 I hope they don't tie it in, i have heard what the story is supposed to be and its stupid. TSCC really should go from where it left off and tell its own story, besides TSCC followed from T2, T4 followed from T3, so how does John meet his wife. Quote
Oky Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 TSCC really should go from where it left off and tell its own story, besides TSCC followed from T2, T4 followed from T3, so how does John meet his wife. Well, he's still a teen in the series, so the movie can't connect directly to T5. Remember how John ended up in the future? Maybe when he gets sent back, he ends up before T3, completing the cycle. Or something. I dunno, I don't know the story of the movie, so I can't tell you. Besides, time travel is complicated. Trying to make sense of it is almost impossible. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 I guess its just play the waiting game, so long as we get some more Gluebot who cares. Quote
SWMAN Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 This is both good and bad news. It is good news because the show was actually decent at times and if they can just clean it up and tie it into the movies, it would be decent all the time. It is bad because the originally said that they were going to tie TSCC into Terminator Salvation, which didn't happen. The TV show didn't really connect with the movies and created a whole other timeline. If the DVD movie is decent and ties in with T5, I will be happy to see the show re imagined and put back on the air. Quote
