Mad Max 4

As if there aren't enough bad sequels, it seems the legendary Mad Max series is getting a 4th movie.

Nope it wont be Eric Banner, or Russell Crowe, replacing Mel or any Aussie, its some small time American actor.

I could be wrong, but i fear this will be like T4, Indi 4, and just a poor spin off, what made MM great was the time it was done, the cheesy effects and props, doing it now is just stupid, will end up all special effects and no plot.

For once i agree with you on a movie related topic. While the original MM films were camp by nearly every defenition, they were great entertainment for there time, and the effects were one of the main atractions. The old schools model props were also what helped make the orignal Star wars movies so great. Real models, real people in full costumes. No lame CGI effects.
