Modded Gold Heist Police Vehicle

Hi everyone - first time posting on Eurobrick. First off, thanks to everyone who posted comments and reviews of the new Space Police "Gold Heist" set - it inspired me to buy the set and make changes. I really like the Police vehicle as it reminds me of something anime. But I did not like the cargo holding tail section, lack of side armor or the interior cockpit. And so I changed it - I thought it should look more like a futuristic airship. I used technic pins with connectors on them to attach the side armor.

Can't wait to mod another set!!

Well done, it looks like a great MOD!

I like how you've actually given the pilot something to steer the ship with!

I've been meaning to MOD mine a little further, at the moment I've just taken off the curved slopes from the engines and added a small plate to the bottom to keep the front wing parts firm, it annoys me how they roll around everywhere.

I don't think this set deserves all of the negative reviews it's had, though I know it's certainly not the best set in the line, it's a decent little set, and if nothing else it serves as a great parts pack for building inthe theme.
