Not quite. It's because I don't want to start another fake image scam like what happened with those fake Elf set images that showed up on Brickset a while ago. I'm not saying the picture is incredibly realistic, but I just want to avoid confusion. I hope you understand.

What does that have to do with this topic?

It has been said that the nick license has been handed over to MB in exchange for the Disney license, and nobody has been able to find the rumored prelim pic, so why are we still discussing this?

Rumours of a 'Flying Dutchman' set have been flying around since 2006, right after the first Spongebob sets came out and people were speculating about the second wave.

Someone posted a few fake sets on wikipedia at the time, which fuelled the rumour, although they were taken down fairly quickly.

Three years later, we haven't seen anything, so I wouldn't hold your breath Unless you're underwater, of course

I had a look through this very forum, and it appears the fake set list was at one pointed posted to brickset.

Check out this topic - the brickset link no longer works, but you can see people start talking about the Flying Dutchman set almost immediately. Aaah, anticipation

I can't believe we didn't get these. Most of them sound expensive. They'd have to do alot of it under scale. We could have gotten a Posiden fig! C'mon TLG! Now megacraps is going to do these. Shame, shame, shame.

This is shameful, even after the whole 10th anniversary SpongeBash celebration, that they could not let LEGO continue on with the Nickelodeon SpongeBob license for one or two more years. I am also quite fearful of what those blockheads at MEGA might do with their low-quality plastic. It makes me sick. I would've liked to wait until 2011 for new Disney sets. I guess it is all water under the bridge now. I hope someday, that they bring back the SpongeBob license to LEGO once Nickelodeon renegotiates their licensing terms a few years into the future, however long that may be. For the time being, we should accept the new LEGO Walt Disney license.

Seems to be a little silly with LEGO reproducing all it's vastly popular Pirate sets.

Plus as mentioned before, Disney is the future for LEGO
