FireHawk302 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 (edited) I have opened a custom LEGO store, BrickMakerCustoms, and I am thinking about making some new parts and resin casting them. So, simple question, what would you like to see? Edited July 30, 2009 by FireHawk302 Quote
Commander Flash Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Strange clone helmets; Neyo, Keller, and Bacara would be good. Quote
FireHawk302 Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 A friend of mine is having me make Ebony armor from thee game Oblivion. Are any of you guys interested in this? Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) Star Wars Aliens, Clone Helmets, Commando Battle Droid heads. Stuff like that. Star Wars Weapons would be nice, as well. (Dual Bladed Lightsaber Handle, DC-15a, DC-15s, DC-15x, DC-17, Vibroblade, droid weapons) Edited July 27, 2009 by Mraz 'Skintas Quote
Sir Wellington Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 It'd be good if you made Pirate items. Quote
FireHawk302 Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) 2 people for pirates, 2 people for SW items. Maybe I'll do some of those... Edited July 27, 2009 by FireHawk302 Quote

FireHawk302 Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 2 for city. Keep going, I need a popular vote that lots of people agree on. Quote
MrCustomizer Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Oh yes! Hairpieces are a must. Especially that cool yellow color from Willie Scotts two hairpieces. And Elsa. Quote
Glacarcheo Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I 'd like some remolded Bionicle pieces/weapons/masks (in different colors). For example, a purple Tahu sword? Quote
Dutch Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Well as you know I am a star wars fan and I would love to see these helmets this one and this one also . Quote
RepublicForces Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Maybe some Star Wars KotOR figures like: nihilus or revan or sion etc. Quote
FireHawk302 Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 I was thinking the same thing CK. OK, so SW helmets seem popular, I think I'll make a few of those. And cast them. Quote

I was wondering, if I could ask a question: If I want a piece recolored, do you simply paint it, or make a cast of it and fill the cast with plastic (color of plastic picked by consumer)? Also how much would it cost to make this in orange? Edited July 27, 2009 by Glacarcheo Quote

If you want to ask a question or order something, please email me. Edited July 27, 2009 by FireHawk302 Quote

Hi FireHawk302, it's nice that you thought of asking to our community member for ideas on what the LEGO fans would want to see produces as custom items. But it's not nice, nor permitted by our site rules that you use the forum as a platform to sell your stuff. As long as you show us your creations, that's good. As long as you put a link to your site/shop in your signature, that's good. When you start speaking of prices and use the thread as a market place, that becomes bad. If other people will be interesting in knowing more about your shop (and not about the items as customs alone), I'm sure they'll visit your site and contact you via it. Thanks for your understanding and collaboration, and feel free to share with us your future designs LuxorV Quote

LuxorV Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 OK sorry. He asked, I answered. No big deal. Just making sure you know the forum rules LuxorV Quote

tin7_creations Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 FireHawk, I was actually going to pm you this message, however, you're new, and the pm function doesn't work with you yet. So i'm just going to ask here. I make a lot of custom headpieces with Sculpey, however, they're extremely fragile and easily broken. So I was wondering, is it possible for me to mail you these pieces and have you recast them in resin for me? I would ask how much this would cost, but apparently, you can't mention prices here... ~tin7 Quote
LuxorV Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 ...I would ask how much this would cost, but apparently, you can't mention prices here... ~tin7 Just wait for another post by FireHawk302, and you'll be abe to ask it via PM. Please understand, we don't want to ruin your fun or cut your discussions for our picky fancies. It's only that we don't want the forum to be used as an advertising or market place by people who are not really interested in LEGO. To do so, we must have few rules (as few as possible) and apply them to everybody (it's only correct, I think). Please feel free to discuss customs quality and techniques in here, but keep prices questions and sales discussions to the PM system (or e-mail, if FireHawk302 wants to add his/his shop's address to his profile). Thank you LuxorV Quote
Cyclone Titan Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 You know, I really like this idea. And because we can order what we want instead of pre-chosen Minifig parts, I'm a happy camper. I would like to see some nice looking hairpieces. and some weapons. Great idea! CT Quote
