JopieK Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Introduction: Today I thought it would be nice to create a little MOC: a kiosk for selling all kinds of stuff and linking it to some famous LUGs and AFOL communities. I added some existing other creations (of course as always in our setting they are linked to stickers). First of all an overall impression of the park. Not too fancy but it seems to be quite fun there since almost every minifig is smiling. This guy is selling some famous brick magazines and t-shirts with 'Save 9V' (although that literally seems to be a passed station). The sailor is having a discussion with the other two AFOL-figs about the rumor that there is a new train in LEGO town. It looks like that even a Bouwsteen chap is coming for a nice "Save 9V" shirt today. The incognito MiniStickers fig is trying to remove another "Save 9V sticker", looks like they were put everywhere! In fact that commercial column was just placed there some hours ago. Hope you enjoy it! I loosly used this for inspiration. Quote
Milan Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Ha ha, I like the stickers. It looks so cool on Kiosk and add realism to it. Great job. T shirts are the best. Quote
JopieK Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 Ha ha, I like the stickers. It looks so cool on Kiosk and add realism to it. Great job. T shirts are the best. Hmm but I realise I made a slight mistake on the large Kiosk, "strips" is Dutch, it should have been "comics". Quote
Milan Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Hmm, "strips" is Serbian too, so it is good for me... Quote
BlueBard Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Charming MOC scenes, and great work with those custom stickers! Quote
Matn Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 That's a very nice scene you've build there. I always like the villages the crew of ministickers.nl make, like the one on the last BeLUG event. Or in Zwolle. This fits in very well. Quote
Vestabuyer Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Greetings! Nice little kiosk design! I think it would go great within a major metro area. Quote
andy16806 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Very nice work. It looks just like "the real thing". All the stickers add a lot to the realism of the scene, (but it must be a real job to make them....) I'll certainly keep that in mind for my own MOC's. Quote
