Thrash Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Here is my latest minifig: William Wallace! I wanted to make a William Wallace fig for a while, but what really made me do it was seeing Hound Knight's excellent drawing this morning. His sword is from brickarms and the spike in his shield is a brickarms bayonet. Thanks for looking! William Wallace Brickshelf ~Thrash Quote
Hound Knight Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Cool, although I don't quite understand the white face. Quote
Thrash Posted July 24, 2009 Author Posted July 24, 2009 Thanks HK. I was going off this picture, and it looked to me like he had white on his forehead. Maybe he didn't though, I don't know. Quote

H'm, it does appear that way in the pic, although I never noticed that in the film. I'm thinking of doing a 'fig of a more historically accurate version of Sir William, something like this: Quote
Thrash Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 That's a great idea, HK. I might have to give it a try too. We'll probably end up both making him on the same day... ~Thrash Quote

Captain Blackmoor Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Once again, nice decals Trash! The idea is neat too. William is an interesting person with an interesting story. Now only hope THIS version of William won't be hanged till he's half dead, then beheaded and won't be cut in 4 pieces once he's dead like the real William experienced at the end... Quote
