Here is this fifth and final stage of my project.

The once strong castle of Hrothingas has fallen into decline. After the castle lost it's defensive function when gunpowder was invented it was deserted, and part of the walls were taken down to use the stone for something else. Now people have returned to the castle and have repaired part of it to make it livable again. The church has regained it's function and a small village is growing in an around the ruins.

I've missed stage 4, that's probably why I thought stage 5 would be glorious while that's stage 4 :D

Anyway great ruins, looks really good with all those cracks in the wall!

On to the future :cry_happy: :D Nice additional photo's, all stages next to each other look pretty impressive! All hail Photoshop.

That's again an absolutely awesome Castle MOC, DNL! :oh:

I really  it!

It looks absolutely realistic and the architecture and the details are stunning! :oh:

The most I like the overgrowth with the many, well-designed and colorful trees, flowers and ivy!

Very, very well done!

Outstanding work again.

Great to see all the details in a ruin.

Allthough not chrono-logic but building-logic still a fantastic end to the evolution.

An absolutely stunning conclusion to an amazing series, it's been great following the progress of this project from it's beginning, easily my favourite MOC series in 2009.

Well done! The extra mottling with all the greenery weathers the structure nicely.

This was a great project, and some of the best castle builds I've seen. Excellent work.

My personal congratulations, Daniel!

In my opinion one of the best looking castles I've seen. I really love the way you use the environmental objects in your castle, and let it all grow a natural and realistic way. Due to the fact I also attach the utmost importance to greenery and natural objects in moc's, it's one of my favourite creations until now, and I've seen a lot!

Keep on building mate! Cuz it's a pleasure to look at!

Well done DNL! I really enjoyed seeing all the creations, they were really great. You should be proud that you followed through to the end of the project, not many are able to do so, kudos!
