SWMAN Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Yeah I'm not following you there, for a second it seemed like you were tying to say because it made allot of money its good?, but that cant be what your saying?.Microsoft, pepsi, burgerking all make lots of money too, but certainly are not good. Don't like what i say, don't read it. Well, they must be pretty good if they make so much money. People wouldn't pay all that money to see a crappy film or buy crappy stuff. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they are good. And once again, you are insulting what people are trying to say. And your posts shouldn't be so annoying or offensive that people shouldn't read them. This is a forum where people can share thoughts and ideas in a friendly manner. Quote
Zorro Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Don't like what i say, don't read it. DarthSion, everyone has their right of opinion, please don't crash in so heavily going against others. Luke McAwesome Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Not another one! The first two were the best, but the third…please…I can’t wait to see what ‘super villain’ they make for this one… They’ve already done: Green Goblin Sandman Octopus Villain, (whose name escapes me) Venom Green Goblin 2 or whatever they called it. (Now they’re definitely running low on ideas) Never been a huge fan, so, I don’t know many villains from the comics. The villain for Spidey 4 is The Lizard, and the possibility of Black Cat and Hunter or whatever is name is as secondary villains. Quote
SWMAN Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 The villain for Spidey 4 is The Lizard, and the possibility of Black Cat and Hunter or whatever is name is as secondary villains. Really? I haven't read that anywhere. Now, that doesn't mean it isn't true, but considering they have just assigned a new writer, these might not be totally accurate. Quote
prateek Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I'm not going to watch any of those, but that is a dream come true for die hard comic fans Quote
Tyrant Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 The villain for Spidey 4 is The Lizard, and the possibility of Black Cat and Hunter or whatever is name is as secondary villains. That makes sense. Curt Conners (the guy that becomes the Lizard) is already in the movies as one of Peter's professors. For those who didn't notice him, he was the guy with only one arm played by Dylan Baker. Black Cat is another excuse to create tension between Peter and Mary Jane and probably an excuse to have an attractive woman in a black, skin tight outfit (not that there's anything wrong with that). Generally speaking, I think at the moment Marvel is on top of their game (with their movies at least) and DC seems to be a ship without a course (or a crew or a compass for that matter). The sole exception is Batman. Warner Bros owns DC (literally) and Batman seems to be the only horse they have in the race. Marvel is throwing out everything and most of it is sticking (maybe not Elektra). I hope DC can get back in the game because I do like their comics as well, but Superman Returns was a major let down (for me) so I hope that is not the way they are planning to go. Marvel is doing the smart thing with the movies that they are directly controlling (Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America) and showing that they do all live in the same universe and interact. An article I read a short while ago talked about Singer wanting to come back to XMen and it also talked about plans that originally existed to have the Fantastic Four in the XMen movies (FOX makes both of those series at the moment) and FOX shot the idea down saying they didn't want them mixing. Personally, I think that was a mistake. All of that is why I am hoping the Justice League movie actually happens and I hope Avengers is good. Quote
DarthSion Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) If this is true the 3 actors who have successfully made it to the top 3 choice to play green lantern are. Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake. Really timberlake, man i hope he doesn't get the part, i can see Ryan but then i guess it depends on when Deadpool is due to film. http://au.movies.ign.com/articles/100/1002577p1.html. Peppermint_M Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Those casting choices make me think it will be Kyle, not Hal in the film . Quote

I really hope they chose Bradley Cooper. After seeing him in The Hangover, he is one of my favorite actors. I really like Ryan Reynolds, but Cooper is better. Quote
DarthSion Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 Ryan has got the right to play Hal, with filming to start later this year. http://au.movies.ign.com/articles/100/1002997p1.html Quote
