Vestabuyer Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Greetings! A little about myself, I have been an avid fan of legos since 1987 and for a few years (1997-2008) I was out of the Lego loop. I have just recently begun aquiring Lego sets and combining them with sets that I had when I was a kid. I am a huge fan of classic town, town and city sets. However, I do have some space sets and castle sets from when I was a kid. You could say the infection (being re-introduced to Legos) happened earlier this year when I aquired Lego set #4999. This is where my screen name comes from. I absolutely love that set and before I knew it I was buying sets left and right the last few months. I have since aquired a hospital, police station, fire station, a brand new 9v train set (Lego Express), a shell gas station and many other little sets. I hope to be able to make a nice town layout eventually but I am still in need of a few sets (hopefully you all will be able to help me out) In addition to a few more sets, I have come to the conclusion that my wife and I will have to live in a bigger house before I can make my layout. Enough about me for now, this seems like a very nice place to be and I hope to be more active in the comming months. I don't believe I have to remind anyone here that life is very busy at times but I will try my best to keep in contact. Thank you, Vestasbuyer Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Welcome to Eurobricks! Town is one of my favourite themes as well, especially the newer detailed buildings are very to my likings. I to want to make a layout some day, but i haven't got space at the moment either. Though i don't own a Vesta set, seeing a few at Holodocs house yesterday, i can imagine why you like it so much. If you have any problems posting on the boards, please be sure to check out the tutorial and help section, a link is in my signature. Quote

Lego_Warlord_8 Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Welcome to Eurobricks! Town is one of the best themes. I personally don't build town because I can't stand building something that surrounds me everyday. Once again, Welcome! ~LW 8~ Quote
