AwesomeStar Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Hey all. If you've been following my Russian MOCs down in the Other Themes forum, you'll recognize these characters. Now that I have received my BrickArms products, I have upgraded my motley (as in, there is 3 of them) band of Russian troops, or as Natman said, babushkas. A note about ranks (as they stand): Ranks are denoted by a colored strap, worn across the right shoulder, down, under the legs and back up the right shoulder, enabling grenades to be clipped onto the front, a weapon on the back and a small fire-arm, combat knife or any other equipment to be stored in the small holster the criss-crossing strap makes. Red = Comrade-General Blue = Foot Soldier None = Driver So, without further ado... Comrade-General; Igor Skvintsky: Ice-cold and rock-hard, this veteran general commands the best, and only the best! Igor is armed with an M4 Carbine (with mono-pod for extra grip, and ammo-holder on the top), 1 Frag grenade and 1 Stun/Flash-Bang grenade (as is standard-issue). He also carries a spare ammo clip. Foot Soldier; Nikita Gellar: Calm and collected, this loyal footman is a specialist in hand-to-hand combat Nikita is armed with an M1 Garand (with mono-pod for extra grip and ammo-holder on the top), Standard-Issue grenades and a spare ammo clip. Driver; Vladimir Koslov: Possessing quick reflexes and astonishing driving skills, this renown driver has proven himself many a time Vladimir is armed with a Combat LMG (which he has painted in his favorite color, green) and no grenades, as they are too bulky to drive with. Here is Vladimir testing the rest of our weapons batch: Lewis Gun (dismounted from the T-14) Bazooka (and rockets) And last but not least, the free Combat LMG I received in my package from BA reseller Minifig For Life, with a mono-pod, both in green! Enjoy, C&C welcome! ~A.S. Edited July 4, 2009 by AwesomeStar Quote
exxtrooper Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Great work here, I like that heavy gunner with the green LMG, works great as camo. But what I don't understand, are the clips attached with u-clips on the guns, what are those? Quote
AwesomeStar Posted July 5, 2009 Author Posted July 5, 2009 (edited) Thanks, exx. Those are the ammo-holders. A little invention of mine to save time. Why struggle to get the blasted clip out of your pocket when you can just grab it off? Ammo-Holders Edited July 5, 2009 by AwesomeStar Quote
