SimonStorm Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 (edited) I didn't know how to use golden parts/pyramids. So here it is, a surrealistic moc, which shows a nightmare. More photos: | 2 | 3 | Brickshelf Gallery | Flickr | ~SimonStorm Edited July 3, 2009 by SimonStorm Quote

Tacitus Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I like this. But when I look at it, I see it as a forced perspective on a giant tree that towers over a desert filled with Egyptian Pyramids. Quote

Woah, thats a really cool way of looking at it! Looking back on it, it DOES kind of look like that. When I saw it, I saw it more as golden spikes or something. Edited July 3, 2009 by Fishy Quote
General Armendariz Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Looks like A guy dangling from a tree, and if he unties him self and falls, the spikes on the bottom will kill him. Quote
prateek Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I don't get it... A guy chained to a tree that is sinking in quicksand Quote
Admiral M Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 A gold-obsessed viking, surrounded by gold, but trapped. Quote
zekenightshade Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Makes me think of a king midas type of thing. Like hes being punished for his greed. Quote
saberwing Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I think I get the idea; The guy almost falling from a giant tree, and he is going to hit the piramids and the Great Sphinx of Giza? Correct me if I'm wrong. Quote
JimBee Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Nice vig, SimonStorm. I think I saw this on Flickr, what name do you go by on that? Or maybe I saw it on TBB... Anyway, the way I view this MOC is similar to saberwing's idea. A man is tied to a normal-sized tree, but is somehow thousands of feet high above the pyramids. The man is forced to confess to something, and every lie he tells the closer he gets to falling. That last bit is just guesswork, but that's the feeling I got when I first looked at the picture. Big Cam Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Nice setup, looks like that would be pretty scaring, waking up thinking you were there. Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I sure would be scared if I were about to be impaled by the tip of a pyramid! Quote
