Darth Legolas Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 (edited) Howdy my fellow Americans! I've got a challenge for y'all. Man my computerized accent is stereotypical. As any good American, and maybe even a few Europeans know, Saturday id our independance day, fireworks, colonial battles, and cheeseburgers! So, over thew next few days, make as many 4th of July themed MOCs as you can. This is NOT a contest. So you can range from an American red white and blue mosaic to the Battle of Yorktown, hey, maybe even make a red, white, and blue Bionicle? Star Wars fans, think about this, a Stormtrooper, Bespin Guard, and Royal Guard? Maybe for CW Fans a Clone Trooper, Senate Commando, and Red Guard? You could also make a red, white, and blue minifig collection, or go all out and make a huge fireworks display It's up to you, just round up all of your patriotism. (Please do not get political as this tends to cause problems, thank you!) EDIT: Everyone can participate, not just Americans. It'll be for a good laugh to so show some Red Coats kickin' Blue Coat butt. Edited July 2, 2009 by Darth Legolas Quote
Mixwizzard The Terrible Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Would making a giant Lego American Flag count? Quote
SWMAN Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Would making a giant Lego American Flag count? As he mentioned in the post, it can be pretty much anything red, white, and blue. Oh, and Captain Green Hair. I don't think everything has to be a competition with prizes. This is just to show off your patriotic spirit with cool 4th of July MOC's. I love the idea. Quote

posades Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 No prize, no MOC! Haha just kidding, seems like a very patriotic thing to do but I'm afraid I don't have much time these days. I'd like to see some of what you guys come up with however. Where's yours, Darth Legolas, for inspiration? Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 No prize, no MOC! Maybe I'll try this.... I'll get to work! Quote

Lt. Col. Thok Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Sure, but i'm Dutch buddy. Methinks he's over-estimating the American content on the site. Quote
Millacol88 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Methinks he's over-estimating the American content on the site. That's kind of hard to do. Eurobricks, Eurobricks...must be full of Americans. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted July 3, 2009 Author Posted July 3, 2009 Think about this: American Revolution! Say hello to McDonaldsbricks! By the way, great job Polish Guy! Quote

I'd like to see some of what you guys come up with however. Where's yours, Darth Legolas, for inspiration? Sorry for the double post, but eat this! Get it, eat, and it's about fast food? Anyway, here it is, the iconic symbol of my country. No, not freedom, but Pizza, Soda, Hot Dogs, and Hamburgers! And the best part is, the pictures are blurry. Do you know what that means, another iconic symbol of America, laziness! Yay! To begin with, the Fattymobile Fast Food Truck. The brilliant hod dog cart! Pretend it says "ford" in the blank white space in the front. The truck hits a bump! Ooh, money is inside! *Cough* Capitalism *Cough* Oh no! No hot dogs! Take the money and run! There's your inspiration. Quote
prateek Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 That's kind of hard to do. Eurobricks, Eurobricks...must be full of Americans. Obviously I think this is a great idea for a "contest" but I won't enter. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Red, white and blue, i wonder what other countries use that in their flag? Maybe some that even been around longer. Don't get me wring, i love America as much as i hate it. Quote
