Hi

I'm new here :classic: 34 years old, from Denmark, came out of my dark period last summer. I like castle and since I have limited space in my appartment, I started building a tower, instead of a huge castle. Well things kind of got out of control. This is what I came up with:

(the Dragon is from Viking set 7019)

I'll post pictures later :classic:

What a massive tower! And you've even put in some nice details. I also like the bridge. Man, this is so huge. I sure hope it never falls down, because it seems to me that it's pretty fragile.

It's not really fragile, maybe beacuse the walls are 3 "legoknots" wide :classic:

A video I made before the bridge and bridgehead was completed (notice: as soon as I removed my hand, the tower stopped shaking imediately :classic: ). A strong wind can't overturn it, but a nice kick can, probably like all other castle buildings :classic:

It's 240 centimeter tall (according to google thats about 100 inches - don't know how many feet that is - but it's about as high as the tallest basketball player  )

It's divided into 5 sections, so I can easily move it. 2 of them has interior. I guess i was a bit eager to show the tower to you, before I was finished with the interior :classic: But I'll finish the other 3 soon enoug

What an awe-inspiring tower! And I totally love the fact that you haven't just haphazardly put pieces together to make it tall, either, but each section is brimming with details. You have nothing to be ashamed of for showing this to us, trust me.

I'm waiting to see more pictures of the interior, which is totally just a plus to the tower, since I wasn't expecting such a grandiose building to even have it.

An excellent, fantastic, superb job! You've got yourself a fan in me.

And you have utilized a lot of pieces commonly considered as "useless" to a very good effect ...

I don't consider the large wall pieces useless at all, they're especially useful in making huge projects like this one come true. I myself couldn't build squat without them, either, since I have so few actual bricks.

Looks like someone is compensating for something. :sweet: But seriously, that is an awesome MOC you got there. I love the amount of detail that you put into the outside. And like others have said, it's nice to see the castle wall pieces being used so nicely. Love the tiling on the interior shot as well! Can't wait to see more pictures!

This is the biggest building I've seen in LEGO. :cry_happy:

I didn't ever expected it would be THAT big...

The walls are covered in details! There are so many!

I think you have done a magnificient job on this!

Now I have a question:

How many bricks are in there?

Would like to know that too..

That's just outrageous! Incredible detail and creativity for a concept 'that simple'. The fact it being gigantic makes me giggle even more :oh3:

Can't wait to see some detailed pictures of this beauty, keep building I'd say

Like everyone has said, that is really impressive. I keep looking at an empty corner in our apartment imagining the massive size of that tower... boy, I wish I had a similar amount of pieces, looking at the video makes me want to replace our TV rack and DVD shelves with a huuuge castle!

Great piece, really inspiring.
