Fallenangel Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Clone O'Patra that image is hilarious! I always did wonder why they left that white square... At least he's not using the force On the contrary, it appears he's discovered that the dark side is quicker, easier, and more seductive. What I'm wondering is... why does he need so much toilet paper? Quote
BrickArtist Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 That's.. just.. . Nice one def, it looks like mechanical arms provide better uhm.. ah nevermind! I have always wondered why grievous needed so many mechanisms..... Great shot Def, so clever! Cloney, fantastic comic, love it! Yet I would've liked to hear a reply from our vandalist. Quote
def Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 why does he need so much toilet paper? 1) For when he "shoots wamp rats in Beggar's canyon." 2) For when he "sends in the clones." 3) For when he "loses to the wookie." 4) For when he "deactivates his tractor beam." 5) For when he "decapitates Dooku." 6) For when he "raises his x-wing out of the Dagobah swamp." 7) For when he "gives into the dark side" 8) For when he "finishes cleaning these droids." 9) For when he "makes the jump to light speed." 10) For when he "releases the Special Edition." Try it! It's fun. I'm gonna go ______, if you know what I mean Quote
RileyC Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Nice one Def. Mine are so Anakin orientated but I'll have a go. For when he "Feeds the sarlaak" For when he "Releases the banthas" For when he "Blasts an Alderaan" For when he "Has everyone in the Mos Eisley Cantina coming out" For when he "Needs to punch a Pit Droid" For when he "Feels an Ewok" For when he "Loses to Chewie" (not so much a euphemism) For when he "Has a rebellion on his hands" Quote
Flare Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 (edited) My next one: *snippy snippy* Eh, not bad, but not that funny really. I think focusing on quality instead of quantity might be a good idea (this is not just to you, but to everyone) Edited January 9, 2011 by Flare Quote
prateek Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 My next one: I like this one. It's very true. Even the new Padme has the same outfit. Quote

Clone OPatra Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Today I start a three-day kick of poking fun at another Battle Pack target. These should be much less ambiguous than my horn jokes, and I don't think they will need explanation, even if you don't understand at first glance. In any case, the caption on day three will clear it all up, if you still haven't gotten the joke by then. Quote
prateek Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Hehe, ARF I love these little play on words! I could never come up with this stuff. Quote
The Legonater Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Snap! I was going to do something like that myself! Bah, they're not to similar- I'll still give it a go once I get the BP I guess. Quote
The Legonater Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I thought it was pretty funny. Not sure if anyone noticed the double joke, with Farr telling it to Padme Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Great job, Clone O'Patra! Maybe you should've put the stick attached to his mouth with clay or something, though, and then put him on all fours. Quote
Stardusty Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 It's great! That's really original idea. Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Nice one Cloney! I got this one after thinking about it for awhile. Quote
Artanis I Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Great job, Clone O'Patra! Maybe you should've put the stick attached to his mouth with clay or something, though, and then put him on all fours. Ahhhhhh now I get it! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Another nice one Cloney! I 'got' this one pretty easy this time. It reminds me a bit of this photo I did before: Quote
TheLonelySquireOfGothos Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) This thread gave me quite a few solid laughs, nice work everyone! Here are 2 comics I made tonight: Edited January 10, 2011 by TheLonelySquireOfGothos Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 We appreciate your contributions TheLonelySquireOfGothos, but I think the second one doesn't qualify as a one-liner cartoon. But the first one is ok. Quote
TheLonelySquireOfGothos Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) We appreciate your contributions TheLonelySquireOfGothos, but I think the second one doesn't qualify as a one-liner cartoon. But the first one is ok. Ah, sorry, I thought the only requirement was "single pane", not "single line". Maybe I should've read the first post a little better. Oh, and I fixed the first one. I originally cut off "for". x2 Edited January 10, 2011 by TheLonelySquireOfGothos Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 I really like that first one LonelySquire! Your photography isn't stellar, but that is some quality humor right there. The seoncd one I'm not so sure on though, because it actually makes sense that the Imperials would want camoflaged speeder bikes; brown for forest, white for snow. It jsut seems like normal army tactics to me. Quote
Mr Man Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Great second one TheLonelySquireOfGothos, I don't think that the speeder colour thing is correct but I really like the idea and especially like the Snowtrooper's top I don't normally reply to these, but I do like them all, but because your new I thought I'd give you one of my Quote
KimT Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Great job Cloney. Where do you get the inspiration from? blogged Quote
