samthelegoman1 Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 I would like a mini-fig scale beetle and Type 2 Transporter. Maybe even a new beetle. Quote
Natman8000 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I would also like a minifig scale beetle. Great idea, if Ferrari can do it, so can they I assume. I wonder how they would market them though. Quote
Bartram Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Great idea, if Ferrari can do it, so can they I assume. I wonder how they would market them though. What do you mean exactly? Anyways, I'd really love to see an old Volkswagen Type 2 (Van). Might be cool to bring back a "retro" look. Quote

Bartram Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 In the sense that Ferrari puts out sets that are large scale, and ones that minifigs go into. Oh, yes. Well there was a creator Volkswagen Bug set...wasn't there? So maybe they could also make a licensed theme of many different car brands, which include Volkswagen? Just my idea.. Quote
rriggs Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) A Carmengia would be nice. Do you mean a Karmann Ghia? Cheers Rog Edited June 28, 2009 by rriggs Quote

Modulex Guy Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Any VW any scale for me would be fantastic, whether MK1 GTI or VW 181 "thing"... or even a VW Westifalia Camper!!!! I'm a VW nut and try to get everything Volkswagen! More large scale!!! Quote
prateek Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Actually, the VW Golf Mk1, Mk2, and Mk3 will be really easy to make 8 wide with that 8x6 slope piece for the hood and etc... Quote
Loganwan Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Definitely the two I would love to see, the Karmann Ghia and the 15 window van. Quote
Joey Lock Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Definitely the two I would love to see, the Karmann Ghia and the 15 window van. What about the Volgswagen Scirocco? Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 What about the Volgswagen Scirocco? Cool. That was my first car...at least a beat up copper colored 1980 version. Quote
prateek Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 A Scirocco will be very hard to make out of Lego without stickers Quote
Ondra Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I hope that next year we will get volkswagen golf in same scale as UCS VW beetle.Im sure in that because next year is 40 years anniversary of first golf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Golf#First_generation_.28A1.2FTyp_17.2C_1974.E2.80.931983.29 and three years gap between lego volkswagen transporter(Same gap was between lego beetle and lego transporter). PsyKater Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Yeah, it would be cool, even if it is not that classic like the others. Despite the fact how old this topic is, I think it is interesting how many VW-related vehicles are out there (speaking of LEGO System sets): 10187 Volkswagen Beetle Advanced Models | Vehicles Year: 2008 | Pieces: 1626 View at Brickset.com 10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van Advanced Models | Vehicles Year: 2011 | Pieces: 1332 View at Brickset.com 3185 Summer Riding Camp Friends Year: 2012 | Pieces: 1112 | Minifigs: 4 View at Brickset.com 4207 City Garage City | Traffic Year: 2012 | Pieces: 933 | Minifigs: 5 View at Brickset.com Can you even think of more? Ondra Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I think golf is same historical milestone as beetle and transporter. Is world most selling car ever, so lego remake will be great present for car lovers. Quote
Bane Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I missed the LEGO Volkswagen Beetle model at the time (happily I got the "real" car :)). I agree with Ondra, a Golf model would be like... pure awesomeness. Seriously, I'd buy it. Quote
