First MOC I've actually completed in awhile.

As the description implies, it's a fully functional Transformer loosely base on the G1 character "Hound".

Text is cheap, how bout some pics?

Plenty more pics on flickr. (photostream order is messed up for whatever reason, try set order)

Enjoy

Wow, very nice. The robot looks great, nice colour scheme but the head could be bigger or diffrent. The car also looks good, but has a big back. Maybe if you added a small roof it wouldn't look so out of proportion, but I understand It would be hard getting everything a good size, while still transforming, you did a great job.

I love it.

The transformation looks like an authentic one from the toy series and the head is great. Most transformers lack in that area but you have a nice look going here including the color scheme.

Does it actually transform? Autobots, roll out! :classic:

Of course it does! It's not two things, it's two things in one!

Speaking of Transformers, that new movie was great! Of course, for everyone else, it might seem terrible. That's just me.

I don't really love the car, but you did an amazing job at a Transformer!

Yeah, it's a challenge to get everything looking right in both modes. Never really thought about a roof though... it'd probably work too.

I agree it was a pretty great movie. All action, and intensity with fairly little redeeming value. It was just... fun. Totally worth going at midnight.

As for the car, I agree it isn't stellar. I'm just glad everything covers up alright.

ausome... It actualy transphorms!!! that must have been hard, nice job, the face seems a little thin though.

I suppose it's just a bit thin. Perhaps the tallness of the helmet throws it off just a bit. I was trying to stray away from that "overly blocky", or featureless style I've seen in many a Transformoc.

Looks great! Can you do Soundwave next?!

I dunno. I would like to give Hound a Decepticon to play with, and Soundwave is one of my favorites. But I've had my eyes on Bludgeon for whatever reason... Probably because I've never seen it done properly before. Only time will tell...

Is that a skeleton-samuri-transformer...? :look:

I never realy liked the animal-transformers or anything, I mean a car turning into a robot is alright, animal into robot is stretching the limits, but a skeleton-samuri-transformer... Yeah, that seems a like it took it a little to far.:tongue:

Very cool. I'd really like to see this in real life. Good luck on the next one.

I liked the first movie a bit more than the new one but I still liked it a lot.
