Tinn-man Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I'm taking a vacation to Atlanta in a couple of weeks and plan to go to the lego store. This will be my first time going into an actual lego store, so I'm pretty excited. I noticed that the Atlanta store is an outlet store, which makes me wonder if it has the same selection as the rest of the lego stores. I just wanted someone who has been to the Atlanta store and/or any lego store to tell me what I can expect, especially in the area of PAB and 'build your own minifigure' selection. Thanks for you help. Oh, and if the mods see this as a pointless topic, then I have no problem with it being closed. Quote

An outlet (for any kind of store) usually has older products and therefore can sell them for less. I'm not sure if this is the case for a lego store, so really this reply is meaningless. Quote
Tinn-man Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 Well, after doing a little bit of research, I saw that outlet stores sell Lego sets at a reduced price. And, seeing as they carry older sets, maybe I'll be able to find some cheap out-of-production sets that I missed out on the first time. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up some Exo-force or older castle sets. Quote
Eilif Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) I just spoke to a LEGO Retail employee about this. He said they do have alot of LEGO at low prices. He didn't mention how discounted, or if they have regular priced stuff as well, but it sounds like a great chance to get some good cheap LEGO. The store site mentions pick-a-brick, and "Outlet pricing on select items". Your best bet is probably to call them for other questions. Edited June 22, 2009 by Eilif Quote
Pirate Pete Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I haven't been to the atlanta lego outlet store, but I have been to a different outlet store. IMO, They are even better then the normal stores. Just look at the stats: Normal. old sets:no , discount prices:sometimes , Pick a Brick:yes , Make a Minifigure:yes Outlet. old sets:yes , discount prices:yes , Pick a Brick:yes , Make a Minifigure:yes I love the outlet stores, but that is just my opinion Quote
prateek Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 it seems like your going to have good luck in terms of finding old sets Quote
