*shadowknight* *shadowknight* I got King's Siege Tower yesterday from Sinterklaas* (unknown in America) and i immediatly opened the box and built. *shadowknight* *shadowknight*

*Your Santa Claus was,in fact, inspired by Sinterklaas.

THE MANUAL

The manual looks good, with the nice castle mist background from the 2004 maxifigs.

What really got my attention though, was the comic. It told the whole 2005 storyline in a few pages.I find it amusing that they redrew the scene with Rascus juggling fruits with him as a minifig. The final image shows Mathias crowning Jayko to king.A nice introduction to next year's King Jayko and Catapult set.

THE TOWER

Nice, but the section with the chained bridge seems to be lacking a floor.Dont worry, two 2x8 plates and you got yourself a floor, where you can put hidden weapons or minifigs. The battering ram section is very nice, and seems a bit more realistic than the Visorak Battering Ram(however, the Visorak may have their own technology).

The orange dish is a nice Heart of the Shield,as these dishes make great simple minifig shields, and Jayko uses it to protect himself from the exploding VladMask in the comic.

THE MINIFIGURES

Very nice!Too bad they didnt make the Shadow Knights like the 2004 comics. The crown is very nice to make a King Jayko,or to put on my Skeleton minifig. The fact that Jayko's helmet is just a tiny version of the large one, amuses me.

ABOUT THE COMIC

I noticed, that in the scene where Vladek stands by his VladMask,to the right of him are Shadow Knight Maxifigs, while he is a minifig. In the next scene, the Shadow Knights are not the plate-faced red-eyed maxifigs, but the bearded minifigs!A little confusing to me,but still fun!

OVERALL:9/10
