michaelozzie Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Heres my latest design for a French soldiers shako. Ive added the decorative cords that were mainly worn as part of parade dress. They were a bit tricky to glue onto the shakos but i think they came up looking good.Visit My Website Quote

Captain Blackmoor Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 That looks absolutely fantastic! I love the rope on the shako. Is it secure? It looks very fragile and I should be afraid to touch it. Quote

Its actually very secure. I used some good craft glue and they have stuck on very well so you can still enjoy full use with them. The hardest part was sticking them on without getting glue all over the shakos Quote
Admiral M Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 It looks quite good! how long did it take you to make them? Quote
