RangerBob Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 @Lordofdragonss thanks for the info. I added this in the review. Quote
Batbrick Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Thanks for the review, this is simply a marvellous set. I especially love all the references to other themes past and present. The classic space statue is sheer brilliance, and I love the semi-crossover with the rebel descendant of the Castle orcs. The actual ship is a true beauty, really a classic vehicle. It does have a few faults yes, but nothing that isn't easily ironed out. I'll definitely be buying this. Batbrick Away! Quote
Athos Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 That could make a nice flipper for a miniland scuba diver. Steve Quote
General Armendariz Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Thanks for the review I want the classic space man once I get this set I'll give him the old helmet Quote
Natman8000 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Nice review! This set looks great, and I'm loving that Spike minifigure. Thanks for reviewing it! Quote
xenologer Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 That could make a nice flipper for a miniland scuba diver.Steve Thats because it is a flipper. For the technic macro figures. Quote
Darth_Legois Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Thanks for the review mate! I'll probable mod mine so it can be more of a troop-transporter. Maybe take some things out inside. I really like this set. im still not sold on the "öpening pod things" (uhh crap forgot name ) Quote
KurttKrueger Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 My Galactic Enforcer arrived on Thursday, and its an awesome set. Really enjoyed the build, and love the chunkiness of the ship. I also received Space Truck Getaway at the same time. While visually very impressive, it feels a bit flimsy. Still, both cracking sets, and the SP3 line is awesome. Next stop: Hyperspeed Pursuit! Holodoc Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Is the statue torso a sticker or a print? It looks like a sticker but I can't tell for sure. I thought it is a sticker when I saw the first time outside the box, but it is printed. The 2x4 brick with the latin phrase on it is NOT printed. There TLC used a sticker. Well, you cannot have everything... Quote
chris_austin Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Thanks for the review. Do you have close-up pictures of the engines and prison pods? Quote
SAMtheMAN99 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Great review, now I am going to save up and avoid this set because it is lame! Yoe would think the first expensive larger-scale set this year would be better, but instead the standard sets rock, and the big ones are weak. Quote

LittleBuilder Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) I really like this set, certainly will buy some of the new SP! Edited June 22, 2009 by LittleBuilder Quote
wednesdayware Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I like that this set has an interior, and that it's playable. One thing I think is missing from a number of sets these days is a playable interior area. I remember when I was young, I would always build my ships with massive interior areas, often at the expense of an exterior, so that I could play within the ship. Quote
RangerBob Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 @chris_austin I added your requested pics in the review Quote
Guss Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 nice review^^ that's a cool set but I don't think I'll buy it Quote
Sandy Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Nice review! All I can think is how well that green alien would fit among the Castle Trolls, though. Quote
Holodoc Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Small update: The torso of the classic space guy statue seems to have quality problems! I wanted to buy two of those off Lego direct, but they are not allowed to sell them right now (having a notice in their list). The lady couldn´t tell me the exact reason, but it seems to be about quality issues. RangerRob, did you notice anything with your torso? Quote
RangerBob Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 No, no problems with my torso over here, also the minfig's torso has nothing abnormal. Quote
phillip10 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 thanks for the review, but does anyone know when this will be out in America? Quote
Spacefan Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 thanks for the review, but does anyone know when this will be out in America? I've asked that question here, but I suspect only the LEGO corporate and toy industry people know and they aren't talking yet. I actually contacted LEGO customer service two weeks ago and posted their reply on page 103 of the main Space Police 3 thread here. Though LEGO does have a history of releasing sets in certain countries before others, so Galactic Enforcer and the other unreleased SP3 sets still have a strong chance of making it to America. Quote
Siegfried Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Thanks for the review! I'll have to keep it in mind as this set should be in my areas soon. I added the poll as ordered. (I voted Good / 4). Quote
