Holy.....That is awsome. :pir-oh: The two ships together are fantastic. I love the shape of the sides of the ship. The bow looks a little low to me but maybe its just the scale. Really incredible.:thumbup:

I am thinking it might be time for the Redcoats and the Bluecoats to call a truce...there be a serious pirate threat in these here waters!

My god....That is absolutely amazing! Well done!

That will be a pain for both red coat, blue coat, green coat..... any one dare sails on the sea. :)

However, Regreatably... :pir-hmpf_bad: I must agree with what Blackmoor stated, Its not about the amount of cannons, That ship will not be fast to get away from 3 Sloops.

Holy cow! Thats huge! How many parts is it approx.? I have to agree, I think it has a little too many cannons. Where did these pirates come across such a beauty?

I believe they captured it from the french, This is why the Frenchies Navy is so small, Because they keep getting captured by British or Pirates.

Rather than blabbing for a couple of hours about how nice that is, I'll sum it up in one quick sentence. "It would be plain suicide to launch an attack on those powerful beasts. Otherwise, I am impressed :pir-oh:

That may be going too far...they are pirates afterall. They probably sold all the shot and blackpowder for a weeks worth of drunken debauchery. On the other hand I wouldn't want to be the one to test the theory.

Sorry, can’t give a serious answer of how many parts it consists. I tore down 5 ships (larger and smaller ones) to build it. I wanted to reduce my fleet (of 12 ships) to get more space in my room for other things. There stood ships around everywhere. :pir_laugh2: That was already too much! But I didn’t have the heart to destroy them simply. So I built one new vessel...

The crew of the ship consists neither of former bluecoats nor of redcoats. They come from another region of Europe! :pir-tongue:

I just have a question, How many Hull pieces does your ship contain?

I used 8 midsections to build it. I have to admit that prefab hull pieces are comfortable but restricting, too.

I'm afraid I have to beef my ship up before it sets sail. :pir_wacko:

This is very impressive! A four decker indeed, just like the Santissima Trinidad at Trafalgar. :pir-oh3:

I think it's pretty well built, although the bow could use some work. The stern looks great in my opinion.

So if it isn't stolen from the French or the British, where is this ship from? The islanders? :pir-grin:

Not for anything! If the second coming!

But, back to the ship. It is amazingly massive in its scale and power. But here are some things I want to see.

The bow has a large void of "nothingness" that doesnt not counteract the aft very well. Can you build this up at all?

Get rid of the fourth row of cannon, and make the ship more "playable" and less show?

I know Im not one to talk as I have not built any ship worth note, but I think this design only needs a few small tweeks to become something really amazing!

-Super

P.S. I like the name! :pir_laugh2:

:pir-sweet: This ship makes me very happy! looks awesome! I believe it's one of the only pirate ships that's so powerful! if I were you, I would only have put some more work on the masts since they look a bit silly compared to the impressive hull. Great MOC

that ship has WAY too many cannons. and an inaccuracy-there is no way a bunch of drunken pirates could have overpowered a man o war such as that. give it British flags, i say!!

She is one of the biggest and most hevlly aremed thangs on the water I've seen as of yet but her sterrn is her weekness. By the way, Whys the rum gon :pir_wacko: But I agree the head is a bit low and the rigging is a litel under done. Good luck when you meet me on the high seas mate.

I wouldn't want to test that theory either. It would result in almost certain death :jollyroger:

Thanks for your statements and suggestions of improvements! I’ll think about some changes of the bow but have no idea how to improve the rigging... :pir-hmpf:

One point won’t be changed: the number of cannons :pir-classic:

The ship comes from somewhere else from Western Europe, but surely not from Island! :pir-laugh:

First of all, the broadside of this ship look amazing! It's a pure demonstration of overwhelming firepower. The stern look equally mighty.

The rigging has room for improvement. It should be attached on the side of the ships as can be seen here. Of course, giving it real rigging with ropes will be even better (but time consuming). This being a 4-decker on standard hull pieces makes the upper deck rather narrow, only solution is to go for a brickbuild hull. Maybe something for a future project?
