Lars Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 (edited) After building the Colonial Marine APC from Aliens I knew I had to build the iconic Power Loader as the second MOC in my series of cool stuff from Aliens. The anatomy of minifigs adds a bit of challange to this project of course. The Power Loader is supposed to be build around and share the movement of the human body. So with some changes to the concept, due to wierd proportions of the fig, I tried to stay somewhat movie accurate. It has a lot of articulation though and the robot legs is connected to the fig legs so that they move together as in the movie. Let me know what you think. More Aliens pics at my Flickr. TenorPenny Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I love the detail, as well as the levels of articulation. Well done! Quote
Optimus Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Excellent, Now all you need to do is make the Alien Queen. Really nice job on this, it's very accurate to the movie. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I made an alien queen once, and took it apart before I could take a pic though. I'll try to rebuild it.... I love this moc though, I've never been able to build one myself. That's great. Quote
muffinmanifestation Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Ehh, the arms are a bit long and big at the wrists, but other than that, pretty darn good. I like the whole chasis Quote
Batbrick Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Very neat, I love it! I will echo the small criticism that the arms are a tad too big, but apart from that, near perfect! Batbrick Away! Quote
Guss Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 really really cool , I love it! is it stable ? it looks like it can fall anytime! Quote
