Tom Bricks Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Inventors Log: June 28, 1866 The first and last test run of Apparatus #406, Civilian Transport Mech. They said it couldn't be done but after 2 months of building I am finally ready to unveil the future of transportation, the Civilian Transport Mech. I have challenged Richard Dudgeon of New York to a contest for the vehicle of the future and I am confident that I have won. - Sir. Thomas Brickregaurd This was my first attempt at Steampunk and I wanted to try something I had never seen before, a mech with wheels. Larger pics. on Flickr Quote
SWMAN Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Wow. That is really neat. I love all the Steampunk stuff. Quote
Zepher Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Something about it's lack of possiblity makes this MOC awesome! I love it, and though it may not be the best design ever, it's an awesome idea! The right arm needs to be longer, but other than that it's fiarly awesome, I love the center piece! Quote
---Vertea--- Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 The spyglass works the Steampunk well! Good attention to detail! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 (edited) I think that's the first roller skating steampunk mecha I've ever seen, but I don't watch anime ps; somebody obviously has the original vulture droid set. Edited June 20, 2009 by dannylonglegs Quote
Tom Bricks Posted June 20, 2009 Author Posted June 20, 2009 ps; somebody obviously has the original vulture droid set. I was wondering if anyone would notice that. I actually have 2. Quote
cole Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 It's intresting, and very good use of parts (my favorite being the palm tree trunk). The platform for the minifigure is good, same wit the feet, but the waist needs the some work. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 the waist needs the some work. maybe a 2by2 downward slope piece on the bottom of the L piece, Idk, that seems to be the only weak point of it I like it Quote
