Luke McAwesome Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 (edited) I found this at a thrift store a few years back, and I'd like to know where it's origin was from. Perhaps an event or something of the sort? It's a Soccer ball. Or to our European friends, a football. So, does anyone have one of these, or better yet, does anyone know where these came from? Thanks! -Striker Edited June 16, 2009 by Striker™ Quote
Buttons Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 It's a Soccer ball. Or to our European friends, a football. No its a football. Or to our American friends, a Soccer ball. To be honest it looks like a run of the mill Lego football Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 From a factory that makes footballs. I think it was sold in Lego stores back in the day, nowadays you still get a lot of other Lego branded toys like swords, waterguns and what not. I think this is the same kind of thing. Quote

To be honest it looks like a run of the mill Lego football I could figure out that much. As you probably can tell, I want to know where it's from and whether or not it was something special. EDIT: I can't seem to find it on BrickLink. Edited June 16, 2009 by Striker™ Quote
Tom Bricks Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I think there where some old sets that came with (human sized) soccer balls a few years ago but I'm not sure if it was this one. I'd try peeron, they seem to have everything. Quote
Millacol88 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I'd guessing its from Legoland because that's whats plastered all over it. Quote
Eilif Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Bricklink lists a few balls that came with sets. This is not one of them. It's probably an item sold separately at Legoland. Quote
Dadster Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Well, when a mommy Lego soccer ball and a daddy Lego soccer ball love each other very much, they sometimes "wrestle". That wrestling may (or may not, unfortunately... ) lead to... Wait, didn't your parents teach you this? Quote

That wrestling may (or may not, unfortunately... ) lead to... Wait, didn't your parents teach you this? I don´t belive most people have a PhD in the mating and reproductive rituals of footballs. Also, it may have come as part of a promotion with the old football sets from a few years back. Stauder. Quote

just2good Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 No, it's from LEGOLand XD. It probably is. Some sets, (like the soccer bus) came with soccer balls. Quote
prateek Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 my cousin has that ball from around 10 years ago from legoland, go figure Quote

samthelegoman1 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I once got a set like this, except it had a soccer ball sort of like that one. It had a different color scheme, though. Quote
