Capt. Kirk Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 If you get one in a set... would you feel lucky or unlucky? IMO he's a lucky guy. For the large size of the picture... push me !!! Edit by SlyOwl - Also used in a MOC: Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 lucky for sure! You could get a regular one anytime. Quote
Tom Bricks Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 As long as it wasn't sharp, and I think he said it wasn't, then I would love to have that boat for use in MOCs. Quote
Shadows Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 That's great. I'd like it more in a brown shade, but I'd be thrilled to find one in a set. Odd though, we've been seeing more of these incomplete fills lately, or maybe people are just mentioning them more. I don't know... Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Lucky perhaps, for a MOCer, but what happens when little johnny gets a LEGO Pirates set for his birthday and pulls that boat piece out of the box? What do his imperials sail in now? Quite a dissapointment really. Quote

LEGOMAN132 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 (edited) Lucky it is a great piece for MOCing. I think lego should put more of them out in the new Pirates sets. Edited June 13, 2009 by LEGOMAN132 Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Maybe you can also make something like that by yourself, cut some pieces off it and melt the edges (to make it smooth). That might give the same effect as here. And you can just say it was a fabrication-failure, nobody will ever know I think I would be happy if I get one, it's just very unique, and hopefully you can also replace to object by ordering another one with bricklink Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 I think it's always handy to have a broken boat. Especially for MOCs, although, I'd prefer it in brown. Imagine what you can build with it, I suddenly get a lot of new MOC ideas! Thanks for pointing this out, now I hope I will get one too! Quote
