Dadster Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I don't understand what the point is...unless the point is to just use a rubber band in a new/ different way. Quote

SuvieD Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I think it is actually a way to creat snot building at exactly two plate thickness. Neither of the pin methods will match perfectly when building as the small lip on the pins adds to the thickness of the technic. Not a practical or cheap method of building though. Most parts won't work like this and neither are very strong. I am longing for the day LEGO releases new double sided plates in various sizes and colors. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I am longing for the day LEGO releases new double sided plates in various sizes and colors. That would be excellent. Another piece I really want is an inverted cheese slope. I've needed that SO many times before. Quote
Millacol88 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I'd like to see a shrunk-down version of this part that would only cover a one-stud area. I mean that the angled parts of it would be flush with the angle of a cheese slope. Sure would help me. BTW, I think thus assembly's usefulness is that it is double-sided, and the various ways he's connected them make the entire thing the width of two studs, thanks to the 5:2 plate ratio. I could be completely off, but that's my guess. Quote
prateek Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 why is this turning into a wish topic? I don't understand what the point is...unless the point is to just use a rubber band in a new/ different way. exactly Quote
