tin7_creations Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 (edited) I just watched The Dark Knight again, and it brought back my frenzy for creating it in LEGO. Here is my "Nolan" interpretation of 12 villains from, or could possibly exist in The Dark Knight, as well as who I would like to see portray them. The Joker and The Scarecrow: Both of these are just the movie version (Heath Ledger, Cillian Murphy), nothing special. Headgears are Sculpey, and decals for Joker are by TriUmp on flickr. The Riddler: The decal is by ED-209, the hat is made with Sculpey. And let us all pretend that this is Johnny Depp. Catwoman (aka. Mrs. Brad Pitt): The headgear is actually this part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30171 I added Sculpey cat ears onto the helmet. The decal is just a modification of the original LEGO Catwoman torso. Harley Quinn: I would love to see Kristen Bell portray her. The hair is made with Sculpey, and the decals are all my design. The Penguin: The decal is my own design, and the hat was spray painted purple. I'm a "go with the flow" type of person, so if everyone says Phillip Seymour Hoffman should be The Penguin, then so be it. Poison Ivy: The decal is my own design, and leaves very little to the imagination. I nominate Amy Adams for the role. Black Mask: The only purist fig in the collection. Anyone watch V for Vendetta? I though Hugo Weaving did a pretty good job of portraying the man behind the mask, so he should do it here too. Mr. Zsasz: The decal is my own design. Paul Bettany was quite unforgettable in the very forgettable The Da Vinci Code. His character put scars on his body too! The Terrible Trio: I envisioned them as Chinese triad leaders with tattoos of their respective animals on their torso; so cast some Chinese guys. Decals are my own. Group Shot!! Hope you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for the WIP Ra's al Ghul, Two-Face, Bane, and Hugo Strange. ~tin7 Edited May 31, 2009 by tin7 Quote
YG-49 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 The Joker, Scarewcrow and Harley Quinn are amazing!!!! Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Very nicely done, but the Harley Quinn figure takes the cake (and the money....and probably other stuff too). Have you ever read the comic entitled "Joker"? It's all Nolan-esque characters, including many that you've done here. Once again, great job. Quote
prateek Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 the joker is the best, but they are all very good Quote
Batbrick Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Very nice Tin7, I really like most of them. Your Joker is the best Heath Ledger one I've seen, it even makes me sorta like the makeup look. Scarecrow's mask looks a little bulky, but overall very nice. Riddler looks fantastic, love the dark green look, though I'd rather David Tenant to play him. Catwoman is also very good, I love the sculpy mods to the helmet. helmet. I like your Harley Quinn, but one thing really ruins it for me: Brown hair. I'm sorry man, but it's either the harley hat, or blonde hair, no substitutes! The Penguin is very cool, though admittingly not that Nolan-esque, I think he would benefit from a black top hat and no cape. Poison Ivy is brilliant, really good scientist look, apart from a bra that apparently goes through her neck Black Mask looks fantastic, sorta similar to mine, but with the added bonus of a hat. Zsasz, even though I don't like ihm as a character, is brilliant here, love the head choice too, mind if I borrow that idea? And of course The Terrible Trio still looking great. The hair of Shark and Vulture suit very well, but I think Fox needs more appropriate hair, maybe sticcking up a bit or something like the Agents Inferno henchmen hair? Overall and awesome package her Tin7, thanks for posting. Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Away! of course u can use the idea for zsasz. as for harley's hair... i was aiming for blonde when a chose the color... it just turned out a bit of a "dirty blonde" color after curing the sculpey. plus the photograph does not do justice to the fig. The Penguin Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 (edited) A lovely selection of minifigs, tin7! ) For me an absolute win is Poison Ivy. ) Great torso and hairpiece idea. Though, I'd make it brighter. As for The Penguin, it's an interesting idea, but frankly I think a more classical look would be better. I mean I strongly doubt that Nolan would let his character wear a purple top hat and a cape. ) Still, nicely done. ) Oh, and Catwoman is absolutely awesome, but still I've's the best in the row. Thanks a lot for giving us the pleasure of seeing your minifigures, and please keep the good work up! ) Good day, gentlemen! ) Edited June 1, 2009 by The Penguin Quote
???theriddler??? Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Awesome, like the riddler and black mask the most. Quote
