KDog Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 You probably won't agree with all my picks and where I placed them, but here's an article I wrote for the nerd humor Web site Topless Robot called "The 30 Greatest Lego Minifigs of All Time." http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/05/the_30...of_all_time.php Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 (edited) Magnificent job! That must be really hard to decide which one is the greatest?, isn't it? The one thing I would do, is to change Diver on one of the vikings. They are having awesome faces! Edited May 28, 2009 by Lordofdragonss Quote
Tom Bricks Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 This is close to my top 30 too and the best thing is that most of these are pretty common. I have about 2/3! Quote
meschepers Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 That was a pretty entertaining article and I must say that those are all some good figs. I'm not sure what I would have put at #1, probably Darth Vader since he symbolizes one of the best selling lines for the past ten years. I'd like to see what others have to say is their personal favorite all time minifig. But, I think there is a little but of mis-information on the mermaid. I wouldn't say she has the least clothing. There was a female in the Islander sub-theme of pirates that wore a flowered lei around her neck that barely covered her chest and had a leaf over the lower part. I think that would be a little less than a clam shell bra. Quote
Dr. Steve Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Great List, I would have put a regular storm trooper on it myself Quote

There was a female in the Islander sub-theme of pirates that wore a flowered lei around her neck that barely covered her chest and had a leaf over the lower part. Sandy Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 But, I think there is a little but of mis-information on the mermaid. I wouldn't say she has the least clothing. There was a female in the Islander sub-theme of pirates that wore a flowered lei around her neck that barely covered her chest and had a leaf over the lower part. I think that would be a little less than a clam shell bra. The female islander had flowers covering her bosom and a whole loincloth made out of leaves. The mermaid only has two clamshells and a pendant. So it's pretty obvious the mermaid is the one who's the least covered out of the two. But essentially, the most naked minifig would be the skeleton, har har. A nice list, anyway, although I don't agree with even half of it. Quote
gogobig Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 1,3,7,9 and 19 I dont agree with at all. I cant beleive that you dont find dwarf minifigure to have a spot on that list. I dont think I saw ninja/ shogun minifig either. With that said, nice picks with others. Judging from your list Id say that you are Older Space and Blue Falcon fan along with being Inidiana Jones fan. Quote
Algernon Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I gotta say, that list is pretty solid! I have no big disagreements. Quote
Dadster Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 No dwarf, yet 3 astronauts?! No Viking either? Those grimaced faces were awesome!! Oh well - I guess not everyone can agree on something like MF's, but congrats to you for doing a decent listing. I might have included mention of the dual-faces (normal + scared) as well. That aspect really added a fun play function IMO. Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Great List,... and my all time favourite minifigure is #1... nice. I got 3 favourite minifigures in the top 5 (Imperial Guards/Soldiers, Black Falcon and Classic Space Astronaut)... looks like I have a good taste... Quote

Alywin Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Talking about the most naked, I would say transparency surpass being not covered by clothes, and so the respectul transparent/ semi-transparent (at least conceptually) ghost should conquere in this respect.:p Quote
Skipper 24 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 (edited) Classic Space astornauts, puh . No Stormtrooper . Nice article. Edited May 29, 2009 by Skipper 24 Quote
simonjedi Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 It had a snowtrooper in it so close enough, i would probably have swapped blacktron figure and Vader around Quote
