Inkscape and drawplus 4 help.

Hi, everyone I just downloaded inkscape but I am having some problems with it. Well when I upload it to brickshelf it comes as a file not an image. If someone would be so kind to help that be great . In Drawplus 4 I draw a line and what should happen is a little box pops up with the curve tools but when I do draw a line nothing happens so I manual put up the box and try again but still nothing happens. There’s only one button on the curve tool box I can plus and it’s for closing it. So if you can help me out on this to great.

well i know what to do to change it into a image, when you save it, you might save it as a document what you need to do is save it as a jpg/jpeg file or png file, they are picture file types not basic document files/ doc files

Thanks jimmyhoppityhop but just after posting this I found out how to get my decals to a png on inkscape. Here is a sneak peak for helping me out
