I simply outlined the black cape with TLG's pauldron and cut out.

this was made about a year ago, I just never posted them.

He didn't cut the holes, he cut the pauldron.

i meant what did you cut it with, because i tried this once and failed miserably and all the little threads were popping out

Is'nt there something special (spray, etc) that one can put on the cape prior to cutting to prevent the fraying?

All I really did was cut them out with scissors.

Perhaps try burning the edges?

Just tried that... and look what happened.

I dont think burning will work, it will damage the pauldron. Or your house.... :wink:

I'll ship this off to the MCW for further comments on the customization of pauldrons.

I think it's had it's share of comments here in the Star Wars Forum.

Next step would be to design your very own pauldrons.
