Custom Black sandtrooper pauldron

I simply outlined the black cape with TLG's pauldron and cut out.

this was made about a year ago, I just never posted them.

i meant what did you cut it with, because i tried this once and failed miserably and all the little threads were popping out

Is'nt there something special (spray, etc) that one can put on the cape prior to cutting to prevent the fraying?

All I really did was cut them out with scissors.

Just tried that... and look what happened.

I dont think burning will work, it will damage the pauldron. Or your house....

Perhaps fabric scissors? Be sure to use the very inside of the blades too, it will make a neater cut.

Also I used a new cape straight from the castle chess set. I have three custom pauldrons made.

I think it's had it's share of comments here in the Star Wars Forum.

Next step would be to design your very own pauldrons.
