Yloquen Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 After long years of watching American Chopper and even without a single ride of one in my life I for some reason built this: I know what you think - there's gonna be a lot of screaming from anyone trying to ride this due to constantly frying his leg on the exhaust pipe :) Also I have no idea where you could put your legs, I guess it's one of those choppers, that are very low and your legs go forward. 2 more pics at MOCpages Quote
MetroiD Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Ha! Great to see you pop over to this side of the forum As always, any LEGO bike meets my total approval... This one is quite special though, combining Technic and regular elements and yet achieving a Town-like feel & look. I wouldn't worry about those legs if I were you, people ride bikes in all sorts of ridiculous positions these days, why not experiment with some yoga-leg-crossing for this one I'm sending you an invitation on MOCpages to join a bike-builders group... will be happy if you'd post this great bike there as well :) Quote

Zorro Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Nice chopper. Captain Green Hair would certainly like this one, being a motorbike man. Quote

Captain Green Hair Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Indeed a very cool chopper! The exhausts are no problem, just wear old pants. I know from experience. Quote
MetroiD Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 The exhausts are no problem, just wear old pants. I know from experience. [scruffy talk on]Ro I smell romething? Ah, yes, the unmistakable scent of rurning flesh and rorduroy... [/scruffy talk off] Capn Green Hair, that reminds me of one of my ol' hockey coaches... the fella had a torn apart pair of trousers which would hardly offer any protection - and would most of the time hang on to his belt by a single (recently sewn together) thread. But he believed those pants were his lucky charm, so I guess we all need a pair of those (and, let's face it, what better way to baptise a set of trousers as your lucky pants than applying the trusty method of trial-by-fire?) * sorry for being off topic...
