Thanks for bumping this old review as I had no idea that that 7777 Train Idea book existed. Great stuff!

It also reminds me of why I used to walk PAST the Lego on my way to the HO stuff in the back of the hobby shop. Lego trains and accessories cost a fortune to my teenaged-self and were a little 'blocky' as well.

I totally understand the love for it though.
