Capt. Kirk Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) Will add some, in time... THE WATCHMEN Edward Blake/The Comedian Dr. Jon Osterman/Doctor Manhattan Daniel Dreiberg/The Nite Owl Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias Walter Kovacs/Rorschach Laurie Juspeczyk/The Silk Spectre Optionel Edgar Jacobi/Moloch --> Edgar Jacobi, the man known as Moloch, was a famous magician and apparently ran underground vice dens. He was a major target for the heroes and ended up spending a decade in prison. After getting out of prison, Molich went legit and became a businessman. He contracted cancer from his time at Dimensional Developments and eventually was murdered by Adrian Veidt to set up Rorschach. ???/King Mob --> King Mob was a villain. He used to wear an ape mask ???/Screaming Skull --> Screaming Skull was a villain, perhaps a Nazi operative during World War II. Apparently found religion and became a born-again Christian. ???/Big Figure --> Big Figure was a midget crime boss, and one of Rorschach's arch-enemies. He attempted to take revenge on Rorschach when he encountered the vigilante in prison, but the tables were turned and Rorschach drowned him in a men's room toilet. ???/ Twilight Woman --> The Twilight Woman apparently had some sort of sexual obsession with Nite Owl, who sent the vice queen to prison in 1968. He had an autographed photo of her in a black leather jumpsuit posing in his trophy area. ???/Underboss --> Underboss was a crime kingpin that Nite Owl and Rorschach took down. ???/Jimmy the Gimmick --> Probably a criminal that used gimmicks. ???/King of Skin --> The King of Skin was most likely a vice king. ???/ Liquidator Liquidator was a costumed criminal active during the 1940's. He killed his old adversary, the Silhouette, after she was expelled from the Minutemen. Optionel 2 THE MINUTEMEN The Minutemen were the first organization of costumed heroes in the United States. It consisted of the first Nite Owl, Hooded Justice, a teenage Comedian, Captain Metropolis, the first Silk Spectre, Dollar Bill, Mothman, and The Silhouette. NITE OWL: One of the first costumed adventurers, Hollis Mason took the name Nite Owl after he decided to become a masked hero and he and his attack dog took on criminals until he retired and wrote the tell-all book "Under the Hood". After retiring, Hollis Mason opened his own auto mechanic shop. He was killed by a gang of teenagers during the Halloween before the New York Massacre. HOODED JUSTICE: The first costumed adventurer, Hooded Justice kept to himself mostly. His drive and hatred of criminals was amazing. He and Silk Spectre were thought to be an item until it was revealed that he was a homosexual. THE COMEDIAN: Eddie Blake broke into the hero scene wearing a yellow jumpsuit and cleaning up the waterfront. He attempted to rape Sally Jupiter, the first Silk Spectre, and later, having alienated himself, left the group to go solo. CAPTAIN METROPOLIS: Nelson Gardner became a costumed adventurer and was the only original Minuteman to remain long enough to work with the second generation of heroes. THE SILK SPECTRE: Sally Jupiter didn't do as much crimefighting as she did publicizing. She was the subject of a feature film, pretty daisy comics, and the fantasy of every male criminal. She dated Hooded Justice briefly before The Minutemen broke up and later had a fling with The Comedian, and had his daughter, Laurie. DOLLAR BILL: Dollar Bill was sponsored by a major bank to protect it. He died when his cape was caught in a revolving door and he was shot at point blank range with a shotgun. MOTHMAN: Little is known about Mothman, except that he wore big moth wings that pissed everyone off and ended up in a mental institution in Maine. THE SILHOUETTE: The Silhouette was the other female member of The Minutemen. Little is known about her, other than she hated The Silk Spectre and retired in disgrace. She was later murdered my a smaller supervillain in a revenge plot. Edited May 19, 2009 by Capt. Kirk Changed the sub-title to 'First post updated regularly' Quote

LuxorV Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 You're doing a great work on these decals Just, please don't post anew anytime you make an update. It can get a but weird to see a whole topic written by just one person If you just state something like 'First post updated regularly', 'Come back for updates' and so on, people will know you are still adding decals and will remember to check. (I'll arrange this one for you, now) LuxorV Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 You're doing a great work on these decals --> Thx for the comment... just try to do my best for the Minifig Customisation Workshop. Just, please don't post anew anytime you make an update. It can get a but weird to see a whole topic written by just one person . --> I thought it would be funny... just kidding... I get your point LuxorV. If you just state something like 'First post updated regularly', 'Come back for updates' and so on, people will know you are still adding decals and will remember to check. (I'll arrange this one for you, now) --> Thx but I thought to work with Update 2, Update 3, ect. But your the boss... Quote
LuxorV Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 --> Thx but I thought to work with Update 2, Update 3, ect. But your the boss... The Update # idea is good, indeed, but it does need your re-posting to get the topic in full view. If you just state that the topic is regularly updated, it's up to the viewer to exercise his/her memory to remember to check for updates And then, there's a useful command for every member to select the topics they're interested in and link them to their control page for easy access . Jlblue Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I like them a lot, but I do have one complaint about Dr. Manhattan's facial expression. If you ask me, he shouldn't have the little sneer you gave him. He's always very passive and uncaring, and I think you made him too angry. Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 I like them a lot, but I do have one complaint about Dr. Manhattan's facial expression. If you ask me, he shouldn't have the little sneer you gave him. He's always very passive and uncaring, and I think you made him too angry. Your 100% right about that,... so I made some diff. facial expression (but the angry one is still around... ). I also made a diff. Rorschash because I was not happy with his jacket anf face(s). For Silk Spectre I made 5 diff. versions (only one showing in the first post - my preference). The reason for the diff versions is that Silk has a small figure but the problem is that the TLC torso goes from small to broad. So the result is that you sometimes get a design of a silk with broad hips. What is not suitable for this character IMO. The four other designs: Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 I made 3 diff. versions for the torso of The Comedian because I wasn't pleased with my first design. The one in the first post has my preference. But maybe other members think diff. and so I post the 2 other versions separate. @ LuxorV... I did the extra post just to make the first post not too long... and also because I don't like all the diff. designs in one post, just the once I prefer... maybe weird but I hope you can understand it. The two other designs: Quote
Orion123 Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) The head on The Comedian's torso is very creative and cute EDIT: You should make another with blood on the face Orion Out Edited May 21, 2009 by Orion123 Quote
