Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's been quite a while since I posted a Castle MOC. ) While Chief Engineer Burorin is working on his next project (hope you still remember him! :sweet: ), I decided to present you an Elven Bank. It's not as safe as the dwarven one, but gives better interest rates! ) And can keep your deposit for ages to come. ) :classic::thumbup:

Heh, a nice mixture of fantasy and a bit of modernity. I love the selection of minifigs you've chosen for this MOC. The use of windows is also very nice. The flowers bring some color to the MOC, which is great as well.

However, nothing in the exterior says "bank" to me, really. I think there should be some sort of shield or sign or some other symbol to indicate that the building is a bank and not just a house among the rest. :wink:

Oh, I definitely have to get my hands on that elf's torso. The Dueling Club is one of the few older Harry Potter sets I don't have, but I'm currently watching one on Ebay.

Wonderful work! I really like the mono-coloured brown scheme amd the interior furniture: looks wonderful and very elvish :wink: And the MFs are great too :thumbup:

Penguin, it has been a long while since you last built a medieval moc. On the building surface, it appears to be a typical wooden cottage, filled with slience and suspence, just by viewing the top 3 pictures that is featuring its front. I love wooden brown parts which is very good for building such houses.

The interior is spacious with lots of treasure stored behind the counter. Don't you think security is lacking inside, a high profile bank? I really wonder how could the Elven Banker able to fend himself from those bandits. :tongue:

Nice moc, and thanks for sharing! :classic:

Thank you, dear lady! ) :classic:

yes, I was thinnking of adding a shield or something of that kind, but frankly disliked all variants. So I ecided to put nothing, instead of putting anything. ) :sweet: Though, I think I could have added a flag or something..... ) :classic:

Very nice bank, and you've inspired me to some degree here. Well done :wink:

Thanks, AwesomeStar! ) :thumbup:

It's not the first time, I hear that my MOCs inspire others. I guess, it's the best praise for me. ) :sweet:

Nice work. Especially cool how you've put all those little windows together.

Thank you. ) :classic::thumbup:

Thanks! ) :classic:

This is a great MOC Penguin, It is also nice to see you building more than just batman MOCs.

I love the look of the Banker and the chest of treasure behind him.

Hmpf, dear sir, may I remind you, that my MOCs are not limited by Batman here, on EB. I have plenty other themes covered. What a disgrace! :angry:

:laugh: Kidding! ) Thanks a lot, *Jerry Man*! ) :classic::thumbup:

At least someone remembers that I do not live by Batman alone here! ) :laugh:

Yes, In fact, giving you an impression of a quite and peaceful place was my goal. It's elven bank, is it not? ) :sweet:

Ha-ha!) :laugh: I was wondering when someone would ask that! ) No suprise that it was you! ) :classic::thumbup: Yes, initially there was another elf there, a spearman(elf?), but the room looked a bit too crouded that way, so I got rid of him. ) Let's imagine that in case of danger the chest seals itself in a magical way, shall we? ) :laugh:

Thanks again, WhiteFang! ) :cry_happy::thumbup:

I trully value your kind words. )

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :sweet:

I think its rather good although you could add more detail to the outside like some minifigs or a horse and cart otherwise its very good. :pirate:

Yes, thank you! ) I guess, I'll take your recommendations into account when I'll be making another castle MOC! ) :classic::thumbup:
