Thrash Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Today I had some free time so I made the main characters from one of my all time favorite computer games: Commandos. Here is the reference picture that I used when I made them: LINK (large image) All together (yea, my photoshopping could have been better...): The Driver: The Sniper: The Green Beret: The Spy: The Sapper: The Diver: Hope you like them! LuxorV Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Great job on these, Thrash. I especially love the Sniper torso I really like the presentation via those confidential folders I take it the decals (a few of them we already saw, but some seem new to me) will be included into the BS gallery, in order to be available for the Indexes, right? Captain Blackmoor Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Those commandos are very nice Trash! I really like the way you presented them. Great job on the decals too. The minifigs remind me of a game called Commandos Beyond the Call of Duty. Keep it up Trash! Quote
RedMark18 Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) Where did you get the head with war paint? I din't see it in a set before. Edited June 22, 2010 by RedMark18 Quote
LuxorV Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Where did you get the head with war paint? I din't see it in a set before. It's from Shadow, a character of the Dino Attack/Dino 2010 theme. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Nice work on the custom commandos 'Thrash'! I must say the presentation using the 'not-so-confidential-anymore' folders is even better. Good job! Quote
Fistach Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 arrrrghhhh :) You stole my idea:) Just joking my friend:) I'm making Comandos guys (also based on this awesome game). JeagerEX Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 The spy has a glasses and does not have a mustache, but anyways nice work. Quote
LuxorV Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Can you please tell me if you used decals or you have printed torsos? As far as I know, Thrash normally uses decals. Quote
Big Cam Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 I really love the designs, it amazes me how good decals can look. Quote
sok117 Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Nice job on these figures Thrash, they remind me of an A-team sort of renegade group, By any chance were th confidental folders based of of the G. I. joe action figures? I know each of them comes with a cool confidental Folder card to collect. Quote

Can you please tell me if you used decals or you have printed torsos? Thanks! As LuxorV has answered, these are decals. The spy has a glasses and does not have a mustache, but anyways nice work. Yea, I wasn't too happy with the face for the spy. If I went back and updated these I would definitely make him a face decal. As far as I know, Thrash normally uses decals. Thanks for answering that, LuxorV. I really love the designs, it amazes me how good decals can look. Thanks! I was very pleased when I found the decals that I currently use...the paper stickers just aren't any good! Nice job on these figures Thrash, they remind me of an A-team sort of renegade group, By any chance were th confidental folders based of of the G. I. joe action figures? I know each of them comes with a cool confidental Folder card to collect. I honestly don't remember where I got the idea for the folders. I never played with G.I. Joe, so I don't think it was that. I vaguely remember there being some sort of confidential folders in the Commandos User Guide (or whatever you call the little booklet that comes with the game), but that could just be my imagination.
