Erdbeereis Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Wow, wow, and again I say, wow! thanks, svelte-corps, for that great review. Great review Mania3! I really like this set, especially the bubble cockpit The minifigs are also excellent. Quote
Ferdik Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) Nice set! I noticed that Chase have black hair on box pics. And also Trace have different torso with big boobs. EDIT: My mistake. I guess Mania3 just put the wrong hair on Chase and the Chase torso on Trace. Solved. Edited May 9, 2009 by Ferdik Quote
Pirate Pete Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Whoops sorry, Mania3. I only saw the first part of the frontpage post which said Svelte-corps, so next time I should read the whole article Quote

Brickthing Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I guess that Eurobricks 'Brainwashing Ray' that Dr Inferno lent me is working after all, mwahahahah! I thought that was a Fez? Quote
Svelte Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I thought that was a Fez? It's hidden *inside* the fez. Sshh! Don't reveal my secret, or you'll be next Back on topic! How come we get better City civilians in this set than in the much-vaunted new 10196 Carousel? They may have 8 figs in that huge extravaganza, but they are pretty boring retreads of stuff we've seen a thousand times before. It seems odd that a $US50 non-licensed set would be so vastly superior in this respect. Quote
exxtrooper Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 It's a little short, but nice, like the new armor, and is that a red trace hair man I like this set. Quote

(But yeah, I got your point) Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Ok, So I need to buy that one first, unless I see them in shops and buy every set i see. It looks so cool. New civilians are brilliant and that is the best Mecha I have seen (non MOC) in Lego. Quote
starstreak Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Woah, wait. I didn't have time to read the whole thing, but new agent sets are out to buy? Oh please please release the helicopter. :) Quote
The Green Brick Giant Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 The citizens are awesome! Nice job LEGO! Quote
baby Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Cool armor the Agents have back there. Surprising that this set has a light bricks. Good review! Quote
Maegnus Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 It looks as though he did in fact put the wrong hair on Chase and that civilian with the goatee. Question: Is the Mutt hair meant for that civilian dark brown or reddish brown? Reddish brown would be a first for that hair, no? Quote
darkrebellion Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Wow!!!! Great first review mania3 . I really like this set. In fact, is my favorite of all the new Agents 2.0 line . The mech looks very cool and also I like how it looks so sloppy . Also I am surprised how another theme opposite to LEGO City can give us better CITIZENS than the proper CITY theme , I really love that "Hawaian" Shirt guy . This is how the TLC must do their sets . mania3 Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 Yes, so far we've noticed that I mixed up the Chase and Trace torso and the Chase and Civilian hair. Quote

Somehow I don't think that kind of civilian was appropriate for the carousel. Quote
Razzer Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Wow. This set looks fantastic, especially for the minifigs! I'm gonna have to get this providing its affordable, thanks very much for the review. Those civilian torsos seem veery useful...(three in one set ) Quote
DoctorDude234 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Okay, now my indecision has been solved. Who wants a shrunk down turbocar? Instead, I am totally getting the old-school killer 'bot!! I would get a couple little agents vehicles, and I could use a motorcycle and helipack. Now, if only someone could design a volcano hangar for this thing... Quote

DoctorDude234 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 (edited) Okay, I'll try this again. I was struck by indecision. I could either buy a smaller turbocar set, or I could buy the old-school killer robot. After I read the review, I decided that I liked the killer robot better. Plus, I own the Swamp Pursuit and Jetpack Persuit agents sets. Those can be used to also fight the robot. Happy now? Plus, I was thinking that someone should make an addition to the volcano base. A hangar, if you will, for the robot. Edited May 10, 2009 by DoctorDude234 Quote

I already have part the sentai mounting hanger framework sat waiting for the arrival of one giant robot so I can adjust the size and equipment to suit it. Plus a growing stockpile of brown bricks for walls and such. It's my major project. quick edit for spelling Edited May 10, 2009 by Peppermint_M Quote
