DoctorDude234 Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I wish I had this set. All those stairs are great for huge building MOCs. My only displeasure with this set is the pointless sky light. But i am glad this old model works well with the hottest train on the market. Quote
Piranha Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Thanks for the review B! This set has some great parts, Roadplate, baseplate, straight track and a a tree! It looks really good and is one of the nicer trackside structures that adds to the diversity of a layout. When it came out I always thought it should have had a civilian car or so. The new level crossing for $20 I think is a good replacement, and coupled with the 2010 Train Station (w/pad bridge) is nice and similar to this set aswell. However I wish the 2010 Cargo Train came with a small level crossing like the 2006 one for the Transport Truck. Unfortunately the price today is astronomical and not worth it on the aftermarket IMO I can (will) build one of these myself for a fraction of the cost. And update it to the Plastic Rail era too Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted May 26, 2011 Author Posted May 26, 2011 Thanks for the review B! Sure thing, but do you realize this was posted over two years ago? Quote
