Ricecracker Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) I've seen many people making small street vendor-type MOCs, like hotdog stands or ice cream carts. So I thought I'd join in on the action, with my Sausage Cart. See more on my flickr Edited May 4, 2009 by Ricecracker Quote

kill will Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 100$ will buy a lot of sausages! It looks great, if this was a set I'd buy a few. Quote
Ricecracker Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 woah thats awesome the bike part of it is genious Thanks! I started out by having it as a trailer, like the hotdog stands that we have here in the city, but it wasn't working out, so I decided to make it a bike. 100$ will buy a lot of sausages! It looks great, if this was a set I'd buy a few. Yes, yes it will. I didn't really feel like getting out my coins, so I stuck with the bill. Quote
mikey Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 That is great, looks spot on. Really nicely in scale, the bicycle wheels look perfect! Yes, yes it will. I didn't really feel like getting out my coins, so I stuck with the bill. If you ask me that Minifig has got one of those untrustworthy faces, where he might just try to rip off unsuspecting tourists, and not give them that much change from the bill! Quote
Zorbas Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Excellent creation Ricecracker! It turned out very beautiful. I really like the way the parts are being used and the details such as the gauge. Great work! Quote

Thanks! Well, he is part of the mafia Excellent creation Ricecracker! It turned out very beautiful. I really like the way the parts are being used and the details such as the gauge.Great work! Thank you. The gauge was something that had to be put on, because of the piece I used to connect it to the top. I'm glad you like it. Quote
Perterz Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 That's brilliant! I really like its clean and simple look. Like stated couple post above, I would also buy this if it came as an official set :) Quote
Darth Legolas Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Great job, but if the wheels are only on the left side, wouldn't it topple over? Good job on the design though! Quote

Like stated couple post above, I would also buy this if it came as an official set :) That's the comment I always love hearing. So, thank you! Great job, but if the wheels are only on the left side, wouldn't it topple over? Good job on the design though! The front wheels are on both sides, the back wheel is one side. It works fine, so I think I'll leave it. Quote
Ricecracker Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 (edited) I took away the poll, as I got what I needed out of it. Edited May 4, 2009 by Ricecracker Quote
Batbrick Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Definitely keep the bicycle, it's so clever how you've done it. The details are great, though if you do expand to a trailer I would love to see! Batbrick Away! Quote

BlueBard Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Nice little MOC, very well designed I really think you should keep it as bicycle, it's more original and not so "already seen" idea Quote
Perterz Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I'd say keep it as a bike mainly for its originality and 'simple' build. Maybe just center the rearwheel ;) Quote
Ricecracker Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 Maybe just center the rearwheel ;) I'd love to, just let me know how . I finished the GMC Safari, and I'll try and have pictures up today or tomorrow. I think I'm going to leave the cart as-is, as I think it looks better as a bike. Quote
