I don't know why it matters, but I thought it'd be interesting. To tell you the truth, I had 5 at once. I fell off the monkey bars at school when I was five. They were HIGH monkey bars!

I broke my ankle, two toes, sprained my knee, cracked my leg... that about explains to you my physical talent when I was 5.

So what's you "gory story?"

I broke 2 leg bones ( fibula and tibula) when I got ran over by a Skier while I was snowboard'n. I ended up getting stanless steel rods in my leg because my leg set crooked, and had surgery twice (once to put the steel rods in and once to take them out.)

Also I might of broken 2 toes and a finger. I never checked it out and they apear to be fine right now.

Does a fracture-dislocated elbow count? Oh, did I mention that it happened twice. The first time, I tripped over a fence. The second time (almost exactly a year later), I fell while running. The first time I didn't need surgery, but the second I did, and they put metal pins in my elbow. The a pin broke. It was about to protrude from my elbow. I had to have surgery again, to have them removed. They had to leave the other half of the broken one because it got stuck.

One. On one occasion I broke my toe, in a fight. It was a weird circumstance. Kids, you shouldn't fight. Not that there are kids here. We're an AFOL site for over 18ers only. And I broke my foot while recovering from a hernia surgery. I couldn't lift anything over five pounds due to the surgery so I couldn't use crutches. I spent a lot of time in bed for a couple of weeks.

3rd degree open tibial fracture, along with a fibula fracture in three parts. :cry_sad:

I had a motorbike accident and it was a painful -from every aspect- recovery.

Remember: Even if you are the last person on earth, ALWAYS STOP WHEN YOU SEE A STOP SIGN OR A RED TRAFFIC LIGHT. (the car that hit me didn't... :sadnew: )

Well only one, my Ulna (forearm). Good story though. i was racing Go-Karts (for 9 years) and this dufus/weekend cowboy forgot to break at a corner and crashed his actual Go-Kart directly into my arm! Good timing though as it got me out of Dancing in PE for the next few weeks, dodge that bullet nicely, and all it took was a broken arm. Girls had cooties when I was 14 after all.

0 ( I think)

I make X-ray pictures, so I see a lot of broken bones.

A fellow Radiographer, I knew there would be someone else on here with the same vocation! Awesome!

Surprisingly (for me) I have had no broken bones. Once I fell from a 12 foot climbing frame at my Primary School and didn't break any bones. I was very surprised at that, I have also got my self into a few more cufufles and never done any serious damage.

I've broken both my kneecaps (actually, shattered them), and have had to have plates put it. Its really tender and I've had it for 5 years!

I fell out of a tree. A very tall tree, mind.

A few years ago: "Ha ha! The 20 year old is playing with Bionicles!" "Hey! You should try them! They're cool!" "Bwahaha!" "You wanna tussle?!"

Five seconds later...

"Owww my toe!!!!"

When I was a child, I broke my hand. I think it was the right one. I'm not sure anymore. I think it was a radius fracture, but here I'm not sure either. In the recent past, I broke both scaphoid bones in two different accidents. The first fracture happened because of a sports accident and was discovered too late. It was my right hand. Two doctors recommended an operation as soon as possible. I rejected this recommendation; it healed without an operation.

The second scaphoid bone fracture was a household accident. My left hand suffered an impact that wouldn't normally be intense enough to crack a bone. But I had a small crack in the scaphoid bone. It's ok again. Later I found out that I had fragile and sensitive wrists that were badly supplied with blood. No tragedy. It has improved a big deal since I started tackling that problem.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to say that that crack in my left hand occurred when my right hand had not yet healed completely. Annoying!

None. Unless the persistant pain in my littlest metatarsle was a break, not just a ligament bruise.

I have been hit by a car, blacked out, had concussion and a bruise all over one side of my face.

At a later date I killed whatever nerve is known as the funnybone, on my left elbow falling off a skate board. It hurt like mad for a few days and now when I whack my elbow it doesn't hurt half as much.

Just once. This winter I broke my right fibula when skiing in the Alps. It didn't really hurt much so I was very surprised when the doctor said it was broken

Is that a good or bad thing?

Not either really. It does feel odd for one elbow to hurt more in the same circumstance. Then again, it may be the same as before, but in comparison to that time it feels like nothing

I destroyed my ankle when ice skating (fracture) and I split my chin in half at the same time... and the zambonie almost ran me over. Stupid people. Also, once I was riding my bike and I braked, then flew off it to have my knee meet the pavement. Two years and I still cant feel it.

That's why if you are only going to use one brake, you use the right one. And you call other people stupid :hmpf::tongue:
