martinsuper Posted May 11, 2009 Author Posted May 11, 2009 I purchased a brand spankin' new 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty off of Craigslist for $50 today. Not a "classic" set yet, but still a fine ship! Dude, for $50 you made off like a bandit! Even if you just bought it for parts and mini-figs that is still a steal! NICE! Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I've got a free Bluecoat soldier today from a friend, he is searching his old LEGO for pirate bricks, and gives them to me! The dude has no yellow epaulets and no musket but it's fine to me! Since the Redcoat forces are getting stronger and stronger every man comes in handy! Quote

Chiles Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 (edited) Last night I think I made a good score, 4 redcoats, 3 bluecoats, 5 sakos, 1 bicorne hat, 1 tricorne hat, red rowboat with two red paddles, old shark, cannon, treasure chest, five cutlasses, three pistols and three muskets, and a large blue flag! All for $24.50! Is that a good deal? Edited June 3, 2009 by Chiles Quote

Ratshot Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 (edited) One time I got a Saber Island for about $15 US dollars and another time I got a load of about 30 weapons for $8.99. Both were from Ebay. My cousins gave me a bag of Lego wich contained The Island Canteram, plus a pirate and a couple of random figs. I would say that I have had good luck so far Edited June 3, 2009 by Broadside Quote
Chiles Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I'll say it is! Lucky you! The sense of satisfaction was one so strong I'm surprised my house didn't shatter. Even my mom was proud, seeing as I'm 18 hah, she'll support my bond with lego until the day I die. Quote
