CMP Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I want to see a Battle Droid try to desert the army. Maybe he would pursue his life's dream and try to open a resturant. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Has anyone seen the CW Comic book series from a while back? In one of them it featured a Battle Droid fed up of going to battle, getting shot, and then remade all over again. So he decides to run away and does lots of... 'happy' things before his battery runs out. Pretty good story, so hopefully it will be a bit like that. I remember that. That was an interesting comic. It would be cool to see that doe into the series. Quote
-JD- Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I watched 'The Zillo Beast Strikes Back', and I think it was another rushed episode. It could have done with being a bit longer, but the story was good. It was a sad ending (as we all guessed) but I think the Chancellor's plan may come into Season 3. The likeness to King Kong was too strong in this episode, but the destruction in the plaza area was pretty cool! Quote
CMP Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 The ending was sort of sad, but it was a decent episode. The next one looks cool. Quote
Inconspicuous Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 The ending was sort of sad, but it was a decent episode. The next one looks cool. Agreed! It was kind of nice to have an episode based off of conflicting points of view, rather than plot twists. It's also cool how they seemed to set up the events in Episode III quite a bit. Overall, I liked it, but I think the next episode is going to leave Zillo in the dust. My favorite quotes from the episode: Mace Windu: "How is it a plan if it's improvised?" Rex: "A lot of the General's plans involve falling." (reference to Landing at Point Rain) Quote
-JD- Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I just realised how close we are to Season 3. I thought we had more than three episodes to go yet! Quote
The Legonater Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 (edited) I just realised how close we are to Season 3. I thought we had more than three episodes to go yet! I know, it's incredible. And before long I'll actually be able to watch the second season. Edited April 17, 2010 by The Legonater Quote
Big Cam Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 So I havent watched a single season 2 episode and this weekend I am doing a drug study so I am stuck in a facility for 2 straight days, and I've downloaded all the episodes, Would you say season 2 was better than season 1? Quote
CMP Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 So I havent watched a single season 2 episode That's literally sad. Er....depends. Each had its ups and downs. Countdown: 3 hours 11 minutes 'til next episodes! Quote
Corvus Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 So I havent watched a single season 2 episode and this weekend I am doing a drug study so I am stuck in a facility for 2 straight days, and I've downloaded all the episodes, Would you say season 2 was better than season 1? It really depends on the episode. I'd say the dialogue is a bit better in season 2, as well as the animation. Quote
Oky Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Well, the animation is definitely better in this season, but there were a lot of episodes that were kinda lame. Those episodes could just have been so much better, or left out completely. But then again, there's the amazing "Landing at Point Rain". Quote
CMP Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 That was a decent episode, but when Boba left the other cadets in the pod alive, I was like, 'What the hell are you doing? Of course they are going to be rescued! Finish them!!'. Quote
Corvus Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Just saw the new ep. Is it just me, or are people's mouth's out of sinc with their voices? I don't think any other episode has that problem. As far as the episode went, it was good. Boba didn't seem vengeful enough, though... He didn't want to hurt any clones. In the books, Boba was willing to do anything to achieve his ends, and yes, that included killing a few clones. Hopefully he'll get less undecisive as the rest of the episodes go on. Looks like next week we'll be seeing a double-header. Quote

Also, the cadets sound like regular 20 year old clones. Quote
Corvus Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 - Also, the cadets sound like regular 20 year old clones. I think they actually nailed that spot on. All they've been through has been flash training and exercises. There's no real time for them to be kids, so they've kind of skipped that. Besides, it's hilarious seeing a 10 year old kid saying, "You're out of order" seriously to another kid. The one that sounded like the older clones was Jax, the kid with the creepy haircut. I think they wanted him to be the 'leader' of the group, so they gave him a more mature voice. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 So I havent watched a single season 2 episode. Hey, I've only seen one. No biggie. Quote
ILikePi Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Well, I just watched The Zillo Beast Strikes Back (I always go to starwars.com to watch episodes now ), and it was a great episode! Of course it had a sad ending, but the Zillo beast was very cool. The episode commentary for it was also hilarious ("No, he's a Sith lord...look! He's bad!!!"). And I wonder where Palpatine's orders will play in? Perhaps at a time when we all forget about it? Quote

I can't imagine a "Revenge of the Zillo Clone" episode coming anytime soon. I think if you're watching it on SW.com, you're missing out. The quality isn't nearly as good if you try to watch it in full screen. Quote
DarthSion Posted April 25, 2010 Author Posted April 25, 2010 If you are American you shouldn't read this. Episode 21 R2 go home. This was a great episode, loved it, was good to see an episode develop R2, and I cant say it in full, but it was funny as .........., I loved where R2 stuck the suction cup thing on the gundak and then to the ship and started it up, ROTFLMAO, and the stuff with trying to stop the bounty hunters, and then flying the jedi fighter was mad. Side note, not a spoiler, but for the ratchet and clank fans out there, while I haven't seen it listed, but I believe we get 2 familiar voices, the bounty hunter not Bossk but the other, he is the voice of Captain Slag, and of course in his second role ratchet is Koon and Obi. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 If your in America/haven't seen it yet... then your foolish for potentially getting spoiled. R2 come home was pretty good (though I missed seeing the start, I assume they should ship crashing?), with R2 nearly killing the bounty hunters on several occasions around the ship, flying the Jedi speeder, Mace getting his comeuppance for continuously doubting R2, and the Bounty Hunters (never thought that Aurra Sing, a women who we saw for four seconds at the pod race, would play a large part in several episodes) were really cool. Look forward for the second part. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I just watched the trailor for the finalee at my friend's house. it look's awesome! I can't wait to watch it on DVD. Quote
