hewkii9 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Hi everybody. So, I've been bouncing the idea of a tower breaking MoC around in my head for a bit, like actually breaking. Pull a brick and it falls apart. But I don't really know where to start with this, as most of my creations are fairly static. So, my question is... Does anybody know of an archive of all the little play features Lego uses in their sets to accomplish things like this? Quote
Skipper 24 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) Hmm, I doubt there is an archive of play features although you could go through instruction manuals to find them. However if you wanted walls to collapse perhaps getting an axle that you twist could knock the walls out of place and so forth collapsing the walls. Edited April 18, 2009 by Skipper 24 Quote
Zorro Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I also doubt the existance of such an archive, although it would be easy for the MOC builders and experts. Quote
prateek Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 You could use the falling statue feature from 7621 Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb. It's like a pin that you pull and everything falls Quote
CP5670 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I can think of two sets in the past that have had features like this, 6764 and 1352. Their instructions should have some ideas. Quote
hewkii9 Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 Thanks for the links, everyone, keep 'em coming I've also begun experimenting with using shooty missiles to power a little device to knock something over, as they're actually quite powerful. Quote
