I believe I'm not the killer. I'm just coming up with more and more solutions... brainstorming, I believe it is called.

Any, General, in my above theory I stated that a sniper could have shot Mr Ditalini. Sniper's are military men...

Your a military man.

:sing:

Oh dear, I do hate it when the men start to play rough. Please be careful not to break any of my antique teapots.

With all this tea flowing I'm beginning to feel a need for the ladies room. Dear me, I think I'll have another scone first.

(Quick note A.S. that you shouldn't be editing your posts.)

(Oh, okay, I just didnt want to flood sorry )

General.. I'm an old, quiet man. A thinker, a questioner. All my life I have been. You sir, are a military man, complicated, yet quick and decisive. A man for whom killing is the curl of the finger, and nothing more. I do not wish to start a fray here, especially in the company of dear Dakota here. However, some of your... ahem... theories, and ideas do not... add up.

Such as your denial of the use of a corrosive acid to ruin the tires, something the rest of us have come to a agreement on.

Why deny this when the evidence in clear? There was a dangerous chemical on the tires and it was clear that it must have been of a corrosive acidic compound in order to deliver that amount of damage to the tires. The right tire was completely destroyed!

You don't quite... add-up, General.

Alright you got me, i'll stop for little Dakota here  It probably is true that its not true that your not the killer.

I'll come down now, pass the buns and tea, I need more. It keeps me calm

Is it just me or am I the only emotional woman here? Dear me, how did I end up surrounded by all you big, hunky blokes? More whiskey tea? :sweet:

I have just noticed in the pictures there is a black wedge-shaped item under the car, just lying on the road. I would like to inspect this black wedge and determine what it is exactly.

General, glad we came to a conclusion. Have a bun, they're home made :classic:

Dakota dear, apologies for the tension, and why yes, I am rather hunky for my age!

I guess I'll just sit here and wait for updates from He Who Answers All.

I don't know, you seem less emotional than a couple of the ones that are supposed to be men. :hmpf_bad:

As long as they're arguing, maybe we could talk a little. You know, dear, prison makes you appreciate all those things you've been without for so long, if you catch my meaning...

Oh yes, yes I do indeed. Like my tea for example! :sweet:

Oh dear, I really do need to use the bathroom. Please excuse me, I'll only be a few hours (7 days) I hope. :classic:

See you all when I get back!

Can I check if there is any damage to the underside of the car. Would it also be possible to take a sample of the chemicals?

Rafael and Dakota search under the car for the source of acid and the possible material that caused the melting of the car tire. They find it to be gasoline lit by fire that melted the tires after testing the chemical. Then they decide to test other chemicals around the car including the small 'wedge' dripping from the back of the car. They find all the different substances to be a mixture of gasoline and other chemicals that are relatively harmless and would not do damage to a car. Rafael and Dakota agree that all damage caused to the car was natural in a car crash and begin to dismiss the acid hysteria going around the group.

I'm getting a headache, I think I need something stronger than tea.

As Ingnacio makes this statement Dakota rushes into the kitchen and brings out her strongest bottle.

"Good enough?"

Could we please scan the crime scene for anything the car could possibly have crashed into?

Dakota then begins searching around for what the car could have hit. She determines that the car swerved of the road, hit the curb, hit the fence, hit a mail box, and seven barricade signs before coming to a stop. All seven signs were hit of the bridge and could be seen when looking down under the bridge. All the mail from the mail box is also on the bridge below which led her to the conclusion of the mailbox being hit. She determined that may be sufficient enough damage that happened.

Could I check the crime scene for nearby buildings with sniping potential?

Alfonso looks far and wide for buildings with sniping potential, but he can't seem to find and buildings that would have the potential to hit a man in a moving car whilst driving up a bridge. "Unless of course they are from the movie 'Wanted'" Alfonso shouts.

So acid's out. He clearly crashed through a lot, so I think it clears up the suitcase thing. If he was shot, he'd lose control of the car, crash through a variety of things, including a mailbox, which is typically not found on a bridge, but keep going until it stopped, and the suitcase flies out. Theoretically the killer would be quite a ways behind the car, and thus would not try to take the suitcase if it was so far up. Right?

Your a military man.

:sing:

Its almost obvious that your trying to hide your cover without blowing it.

It's actually spelled "you're" as in a contraction for "you are." That goes for both of you.

After a long period of thought, Tyler finally stands up.

I want to check in front of the car for any tire tracks, and if I find any, I want to note their size, patterns, etc.

Sounds like a high-speed chase, to me. That's a lot of stuff to hit. But if so, who shot him?

I'd like to check the seat of the car for a lot of blood, maybe indicating that he was shot earlier and fleeing, and not shot on the scene.

Clearly, he grabbed the briefcase, tried to open it, ran like hell, got shot somewhere along the way, either before or after the crash, and now we're left to figure this out. I think we'll learn a lot when we get that briefcase open.

Was he carrying a gun and had it been recently fired?

Are there any bullet holes in the back of the car or anywhere else, other than the one in the windshield?

Well General, it appears my sniping theory is out. I apologise for the accusations.

Dakota dear, pass me a crumpet. Thank you.

I'd liken to know how far a .44 calibre bullet can travel

(Edit reason: spelt far as fire )

Tyler finally stands up and begins looking all across the bridge for tire tracks or anything out of the ordinary. He searches the bridge through and through. He notices something peculiar in the dirt. Two small marks in the dirt. Nobody in the group had noticed that. But before he can take sample and see if there is the same metal the dirt as there is in bipods used to hold up snipers a midnight joggers runs right over. He thinks for certain they are from a bipod, but nobody in the group can be fully convinced.

Ignacio begins searching all over the car for any signs. He checks Mr. Ditalini and the seat around him for blood. Lots of blood. Unfortunately there is only blood still pouring out of his head and no other marks on his body as far as gunshot goes. Ignacio also begins to search his bloodied suit for a weapon of some sort. He finds a small revolver, and grenade and a Tommy Gun under his seat! Ignacio is astounded. He begins wishing that he could afford those firearms to keep under the seat of his car. All he can afford is the Tommy Gun that goes under his bed. Ignacio distracted by that thought snaps out of it and begins searching the guns for any signs that is may have been shot. The Tommy Gun was clean as a whistle, the revolver had only 3 bullets left in it and it looked like it had been shot. Ignacio also tries to find any other bullets and finds one wedged in the back left hubcap. It would not have caused serious damage and he cannot check the caliber of the bullet due to how distorted it is.

That seems to sum up my theory with new evidence quite weel my prison friend, so thank you, though I would ask you to not imply anything to Dokota. She has a frail heart.

Now that we've figured out the basics of what happened, shall we move on to who? Seeing as we're all police and or Mafia members here, I think that the fact that he was killed by a gun doesn't help much. The only clue we've got to go in in my mind is the breifcase, and what could possibly be inside. Whoever didn't want him opening it, or whom it belonged to, are a very likely suspect. But then of course we don't have it open, so we'll have to wait.

I think Rafeal's idea on who to vote for a few minutes back seems reasonable. Someone who hasn't solved anything yet. Who shall that be? I still have no idea, please feel free to offer your thoughts.

Dokota dear, please pass the tea.... it would seem she's in the bathroom. I guess I'll have to go get it myself.

*Zachery slowly stands up from his comfy chair and walks over to the pot*

Also, please refrain from calling me "Zach" unless your Dokota. My name is Zachery.

Okay, this may be a stretch, but... Are there any tracks leading too of from the crashed car? Like footprints?

Jonathon begins to search for tracks, but like he expected there are no tracks.

Bullet in the rear hubcap could be old, could be new. If it's new, they chased him, he lost control, they got out and popped him then ran like cowards. I don't know, he had guns, he wouldn't have gone down without a fight, but I don't understand them being under the seat.

Speaking of which, let's note one thing right now before someone starts looking my way, me being the jailbird and all (like we haven't all had out time up the river). All I own is a tommy gun and the boss took a single shot from a .44. Not to put too fine a point on it, but that makes me innocent. Now that we've settled that, can I have his revolver? I could really use one of these with the cops after me and all. :look:

Also, please refrain from calling me "Zach" unless your Dokota. My name is Zachery.

You have a nice hat. May I call you... Zachy?

Very well. You may call me Zachy too. I've got a soft spot for nice little prison fellows.

They shot him, he lost control, end of story. If they shot him from a far, he wouldn't of known they were coming. So he wouldn't of went for the guns. Seems to make sense to me.

Two more points, prison friend. Who do you think we should vote off, and may I keep the revolver. I seem to have misplaced my gun elsewhere... and I don't trust you with it. :classic:

I wonder if anyone was driving with him? I'd like to check the seat next to him for signs of occupation. Also, may I check what damage was done to the engine?

I, personally am really suspecting Alfonso right now, as he has done nothing but falsely accuse people.

Adam begins checking the passenger seat. It is cold so he can't tell it it was occupied. He searches around and under the seat. Adam find panties under the seat. He demands that the two women in the Ditalini family pull down there pant. He earns himself a slap on the face, but as they both slap him he observes they both have there panties on.

Rafael begins observing the bullet wedged in the hubcap. He determines that is was shot from a gun that had the barrel behind the car and was fired at the car.

I think this was a setup. I think that the killer had positioned himself in front of the car, or was in his own car, and cut off the boss, got out, and shot him. All the while, he had another man chasing behind him, who shot at him, but missed.

The false accusations you speak of are theories of mine, Raphael, and as you can see, I apologised thoroughly to the General, so I think that your accusation is a false one also...

The new evidence such as the metal traces in the dirt that Tyler found, possibly from a bipod you said?, brings my sniping theory back into the frame.

Could you possibly tell me how far one could fire a (.44) bullet from a sniper rifle?
