Backpack3 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 also...erm...BOB! only joking. does anyone have a pic of the riddler off THE BATMAN? Quote
MattZitron Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 There you go. This site has guides of all the DC cartoons. Fantastic webpage. Quote
Vader Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 I love the pumped up bane from the batman and eould love to see lego make one as long as it wasnt done in minifig form, this bane would benefit from a molded body. Quote
General Grievous Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Oh and I forgot to mention Dracula from the movie. I doubt they'll make him since they already made the Studios one. Quote
Vader Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 Well lego did give us a vampire some years ago so a dracula one could be brought out i guess. Quote
Dino_Bot Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 The Riddler's the worst The Batman villain redesign... The Best one is Man Bat. Quote
Starwars4J Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Am I the only one who hates the fake-anime style of "The Batman"? Then again, I hate most american "fake" anime...but it just seems to ruin the series for me. My favorite was the 90's cartoon, and that's what I'm hoping we'll get figs of. Quote
Vader Posted November 13, 2005 Author Posted November 13, 2005 I quite like the new version of the batman, yes some of the designs are abit out there but others like the riddler needed freshening up IMO. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 I quite like the new version of the batman, yes some of the designs are abit out there but others like the riddler needed freshening up IMO. Yeah, the old Riddler looked like that "free government money" Matthew Lesko guy. If the riddler's a cerebral nerd, I think the long-haired twigboy redesign can't hurt. I don't mind the anime look to The Batman or to Teen Titans, and I usually HATE most american cartoons. The thing I most don't like about The Batman is that the redesigns from the Animated 90's series were more cool looking... everyone wasn't a pumped up EXTREME monster. Bruce Timm's character designs WERE a bit redundant when it came to females though. I also happened to watch an episode of this new one where the ventriloquist guy built a GIANT freaking robot... it was so far-fetched and silly. I hate these "EXTREME!" fads. Quote
Vader Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 Yes that ep was way over the top, i find it to be a hit and miss show. Some eps are really good and capture the spirit of the batman whilst others feel rushed and pointless. Quote
MattZitron Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 The Riddler's the worst The Batman villain redesign...The Best one is Man Bat. I completely agree. I love how Manbat, Freeze, and Firefly. I'm not a fan of Joker, Riddler and Bane (when he's pumped, he looks great before he takes the venom). I wouldn't call The Batman "fake Anime". It doesn't have the classic anime BIG EYES on most humans. In general its animated quiet well. As for the Timm Stuff, he is a god. The thing he tried to do with BTAS was do a futuristic 1940s design. Hense how the ladies looked. His Clayface can't be beaten though. Quote
Vader Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 For me Freeze is the best redesign that i have seen in along time, i also quite like the penguin which is strange as i never liked him in the comics or the old animated series. Quote

Vader Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 :-D Do you think they used Elton as a template for him? Quote
MattZitron Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 :-D Do you think they used Elton as a template for him? Oh yes. Quote
Vader Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 Would you then say that the riddler is based on maralyn manson??? :-D Quote
MattZitron Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Would you then say that the riddler is based on maralyn manson??? :-D Without a doubt. I don't really think Elton is the basis for Penguin. But Riddler is 100% definately based on Mr.Mason. Quote
Vader Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 So then i guess we can look forward to other popular singers turning up as batman villans. Quote
MattZitron Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 So then i guess we can look forward to other popular singers turning up as batman villans. Yep.. Expect Flava Flav from Public Enemy as Mad Hatter. Quote
Backpack3 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I'm surrounded by idiots :| |-/ :| EDIT: i'm only joking dont ban me NOTE: the 60's riddler looks like bill gates. Quote
Vader Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 Hey ill have you know that bill copied the riddlers look to a tee and backpack if you add symbols like the laughing face or a winking one we will know that your joking :) Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 "Aquired" and watched Justice League Unlimited Series 2, Episode 13 "Epilogue". NICE. It made me want a (Lego-made) Batman Beyond figure all the more. ...and a return of that show. As for the planned line... I better be seein' me some nice blue trans getting tossed around on Mr.Freeze. It'd be awesome if there was a blue trans "flame" helmet that fit over a minifig head... because then if they made that in orange, you could slap a skull underneath and make a proper Ghost Rider fig. Quote
Vader Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 Ive been designing a freeze for awhile and ive often wished that lego made a piece that would suit freezes head, oh and aquired you say???? I also aquired ;) Quote
