Here is my version of a member of the British 95th Rifles. These guys were reknowned for their unconventional skirmish warfare practices during the wars of the Napoleonic era, utilising sharpshooter tactics to eliminate the command elements of enemy formations. Most people will know of this unit due to the Sharpe television series.

Anyway here he is:

And a different angle:

The body is hand painted and the rifle is a modified brickarms rifle.

Very nice work, beautifully painted as usual. My opinion is the rifle is a tad too long, since these were really short weapons.

How did you make the rifle's flintlock?

Very nice.

Funny thing is, Ive been watching the Sharpe series lately  .

Anyway, one this is, is that the sash would typically be worn under the belt, or rather before it. I think.

Sash would usually be worn over the belt, so no belt was to be seen :classic: although this would usually be with officers.
