I went to the Schaumberg, IL store recently, but ended up not buying a cup. Too many other distractions at the time and some of the main pieces I wanted were on backorder. Part of me still regrets not getting a cup though. But looking back, I probably would have purchased different pieces had I did it all over again. Odd...

Looking at some of these hauls is making me regret it though.

Picked up a cup in Cincinnati today, here's what I picked up:

1x2 reddish brown log bricks

1x1 black bricks with 4 studs on sides

2x2 dark bluish gray corner bricks

1x1 dark bluish gray bricks

1x2 yellow jumper plates

Went to the London Bluewater store. At first sight, there was nothing interresting, then I saw brown horses!!! It is tricky to fill a cup with these. I think I mananaged to include a dozen of those. Other pieces I took: 2x4 plate purple, 2x4 plate azure, 2x6 pink plate, transparent cheese slope.

All in all, I was really surprised to see these horses.

Saw a post on Reddit about Horses on the PAB wall recently: http://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/299lpn/got_8_horses_in_my_pab_cup_today/

I'm hoping this becomes a US thing. Would love to get a ton of Horses and start some sort of army or perhaps make a epic Stage Coach with a ton of horses.

Ditto, It would rock if they had them at the Downtown Disney LEGO Store when I go in July!

Woo horses. I'm more excited about the purple and azure plates.

An employee of the Mall of America Lego store told me they would be getting horses soon.

Were they the new style or old style horses?

The new style horses. I find it cool as I thouht such item would typically be with the minifigs.

From Donau Zentrum in Vienna. The selection was quite good. This was my first time in a PAB I probably didn't do as well as I could have but it was still pretty fun =)

List of bricks I got (no 471 round tiles isn't enough)

PAB list

And a picture of it all sorted, though I warn you it is really blurry:

New Horses or the old Horses? Back when I visited Billund in 2008 they had PAB of the old horses (white horses), which I grabbed up instantly (I have too many now...) They also had metallic gold firefighter hats, Mars Mission Crystals, Space Police III Rench heads, and some other misc stuff...

I stopped by the Mall of America last week. I should have gone earlier in the day. It was crazy there. Very loud. Tons of People. Kids everywhere. Tourists taking pictures.

But I ignored the distractions, maintained my focus, and packed the parts as tight as possible...

There are over 800 pieces here.

428 bricks- I was thrilled to get the Tan 1x3 bricks and clear 1x2's

350+ 1x1 plates, cheese slopes, and studs

50 pink tiles that filled the voids in the cup very well, though I'd have prefered an earth tone.

25 gems

6 wheel guards

4 brackets

this is why I'm excited to get the 1x3 bricks in tan- I can "finish" The M.O.M.A. (Museum of Minifig Art)

Did I say 2008? I meant 2011. I was thinking of my Legoland Günzburg Trip..... At the end of the Billund Factory Tour there was a very strange assortment of minifigures and parts for PAB... That and along with their bargain store (that sold discontinued sets) it was a good trip. I'd recommend going and talk more, but I'm getting off topic...

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be sure to check it out.
