Hi all, I have a chance to get early pictures of some August 2009 sets, as I have no time to make review for all those, I make this post just to share few photos with you.

I love the style of it but I don't like the color orange. I think it is used way too much in the City sets. But this set will definitely go into my lego "city" (as far away from the Coast Guard sets as possible) for sure!

I think on the back of the Temple of Doom box there is a diagram showing that the tracks are thinner than usual.

It shows, that you can make 6 wide or 8 wide rails....seems, that the system is similar as at old 12 V trains, rails are not firmly fixed to plates, so width can be adjusted.

You got so many cool summer 2009 sets so early! :oh:

Thanks for posting pictures of these. These pictures are much clearer than the ones in your review of City Corner. :classic:

I wish the wind turbine was sold separately from the vehicles. It would have been fun to buy four or five wind turbines to build a wind farm in my city, but I really have no need for four or five gigantic red transport trucks.

Thanks for the pictures. The City theme is as strong as I've ever seen it in my 30 years of collecting!

Could that be a new road on the Tow Truck pics?

I see nothing new here. :look: To me it looks like the existing road plates.

I second your wishes. Where´s our ambassador?

Wow, I actully havent seen some of these before. You are really lucky to have ot them all so early. I personally think the Garage set looks great. The wind turbine set also looks seriously cool.

The standalone tow truck is good, but as some have already said the proportions seem off. The service station comes with its own tow truck though, which looks simply fantastic. I don't really like the wide open design of that set, but will probably get it just for the trucks it comes with.

That Turbine Transport set looks quite interesting.

That Indy set has some useful parts for some Western gold mine MOCs, such as those tiny tracks.

I also like the tow truck, as well as the sports car with call box.

Thanks for sharing :classic:

I love the temple of doom, has some nice figs and the bendable tracks look great for a variety of purposes

The tow truck depot reminds me of 6434

Just more detailed

I like them all, but when I compare the 7747 to the Vestas product, I have to say that I like the Vestas product better than the non-limited version, because the Vestas thing had the little green hill, the cottage building and the smaller service van, and as good as the giant red truck looks, I just like the other design better. But I won't complain ... after all, I downloaded the Vestas instructions and thus will be able to build the cottage anyways ...
